Amazing Dumplings! - Edit
We looked for a good vegan place and found this one on Happy Cow. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the staff is also really nice granting us free treats like çay.

I can't repeat enough how amazing it was! Wish I could give it 5 Stars!

I went twice there ; first was very good, I had a mixed plate of vegan dumplings and it was tasty.
Read moreSecond time it was another waiter and I ordered something different from the first time. He told me it would take 30 min I said that was ok, but he insisted that I'd take the same thing as the first time. Told him I already tried it and he insisted again (!) so I finally accepted because I wanted to eat. Just let me take what I want or put it out of the menu !
Pros: Food is good and lots of choices
Cons: One of the waiter was upsetting, A little bit overpriced

And lots of them. I don't understand the bad reviews, this is the most vegan friendly restaurant I've found in the old town. Lots of options, including a vegan breakfast, vegan cheese toastie, and a wide range of different dumplings with different oils, garlic, chilli & basil, to pair with and vegan desserts. All clearly marked as vegan in English & Turkish. And a nice change from mezze plates. Great place!

What don’t you understand about the other reviews? They literally gave me meat in my food and then spoiled yogurt and, after that, non vegan yogurt. If you had a good experience now it’s because they’re fixing the vegan menu and training the staff because of all the problems they had (and I’m very glad about that😅)

Vegan dumplings - Edit
It looks like the yogurt that I got was different than the ones pictured in the reviews below, mine definitely tasted vegan. Almost like a sour-flavored thick coconut yogurt.
Read moreI really liked the haşlanmiş momo vegan dumplings. I didn’t love the flavor combo with the yogurt but I might have just been too full. Be careful when ordering, you have to specify vegan dumplings AND vegan yogurt. Not sure why they make it so complicated, as it seemed like the vegan dumplings were in the menu twice (once listed with the vegan yogurt and one without).

BE CAREFUL IF YOU’RE VEGAN!!! - Edit
I ordered the vegan boiled dumplings, they served me meat manti first, then they brought me the vegan dumplings with an AWFUL yogurt. It tasted horrible and it was very cold. I went to the other branch and it was TOTALLY different. I told this to the waiter (and showed him the pictures of what was supposed to be vegan from the other reviews) and he told me that THAT was definitely the normal yogurt!? So they lied to several people and served them NON vegan yogurt? Do they know that doing that can be very dangerous for lactose intolerants, people with allergies or very bad for VEGANS? And the server brought me the non vegan one and told me: this is what you’re asking for (because of the pictures). I mean… you’re admitting you’re giving the other people animal yogurt?

Rare vegan options in area heavy with kebab grill restaurants. Reasonable amount of vegan options. The dumplings were really good and flavourful condiments to go with it. Upstairs is nice ambience.

On the menu it says you can get manti veganized, but he said no and pointed me in the direction of the momos. They were good but I was suspicious of the vegan yogurt. I ended up not eating that part. And we definitely paid about $12-$15 more than it should’ve been. Maybe the menu prices hadn’t been updated idk.
