Tasty and cheap!

Very tasty food! Had never had cig kofte before but I really like it so we we went back before we left Bucharest. It is easy to miss because it is a very tiny place with just 2-3 tabels of outdoor seating, so it is not a place you go to for a nice dinner.

Pros: Tasty food, Good value, Friendly staff

Cons: Easy to miss, Tiny outdoor seating

go eat cigkofte

A most delicious vegetarian/vegan option for a healthy meal. Authentic Mediterranean flavor, made with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, mint, parsley and lemon. Served rolled inside a light pitta bread (similar to a tortilla).
Both the spicy and regular options are very good, with the spicy option being really rather joyfuly and liberally spiced.

They also offer a refreshing yogurt drink called Ayran which mixes very well with cigkofte flavour.

Pros: the spicy option is deliciously spicy

Cons: Not very convenient location to get to with a car.

Refreshing and tasty

We ate lunch here today and it was excellent. The wraps are prepared fast and fresh in front of your eyes. There are two small tables on the sidewalk where you can eat. The owner is kind and is happy to answer any questions you have. The wrap is a light and satisfying meal, yet filling enough to take you through the afternoon. It’s terrific to have all-vegan, down-to-earth, authentic Turkish food to eat in the heart of the old town where most places have people outside trying to lure you in. We tried the spicy bottled drink Salgam and it was a unique flavour for sure. Definitely worth a visit! It’s just a small counter so not a place to go with a group for a lingering meal but perfect for a pit stop while sightseeing.

Pros: Delicious, fresh wraps, Friendly owner, Cheap and filling

yummy yummy, but plastic

I really recommend going there:
It's tasty and cheap even though the simple wrap is a bit small, and the staff is nice and friendly. Also the looks of the shop don't scream vegan food and it looks like yet another Turkish fast food, so I feel like non-vegans would more easily go there.

One thing bugged me a little though: Almost everything is made of disposable plastic. Maybe they could have glass cups and metal cutlery instead, at least for those who eat on site. And the place is very small so it's not like they'd need to buy many of those.

Pros: Very nice staff, Tasty food, Passes as a regular Turkish food place

Cons: Plastic, Wrap is a bit small (but dishes look bigger)

Dry and bad

I hadn't eaten all day so was starving. I looked up Kral and it seemed great, reminded me of Vegab in Krakow (which I love btw). I got there and was happy to see the price was decent that's where it ended. I got the wrap and it had so much herbs in it that is all I could taste. The paste that they use is also so dry that you need a litre of water with you just to get it down. I won't be going back and won't recommend to any of my vegan friends. Not sure it was even worth the 10 lei tbh.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Dry, Bad taste,

I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

My boyfriend and I are full-time digital nomads, but we are not making the big buck yet, so we need to stay on a budget. We stumble in this place because we were going to go to Super Fafafel but the guy that was working there was super rude and we left.

That is when we found this little hole in the wall is managed by a few really nice employees that speak perfect English and are willing to explain to you how their meatless meat is made with natural ingredients. They have a small menu that is based on how much "meat" you want. (The shwarma is 10 lei, 200g of "meat" is 13 lei, 400g is 23 lei, and so on...)

I had the 200g of "meat" with lettuce to wrap and my boyfriend had the shwarma and we were super full. They also offer the cranberry sauce on the side.

I loved everything about this little place and I think you will too. I mostly perfect for to go orders.
I have to be honest and say that it doesn't look super cute from the outside and I even asked 5 times if it was in fact vegan because this "meat" look really like meat...but it is not, the owner assured me that it wasn't and then I saw that in this shirt it said Vegan shwarma :P

Guys keep your eyes open for this little places that might surprise you like I was.

Different and tasty

I visited this small food vendor a week ago and I was very very pleased.

I enjoyed the food, it was light and fresh.

Given the fact that the vegan options in Bucharest are very limited and this is something very different from the classic falafel, I would say definetly to give it a try!

Pros: Location, right in the city center, Very nice owner
