I came here for lunch and after narrowing it down to 4 dishes, I ended up choosing the mushrooms on toast and a cherry ripe smoothie. My partner had the pancakes.
Read moreMy mushroom dish was large and tasty. I liked the “cream cheese.” The cherry ripe smoothie was very chocolatey and I thought it could have done with more cherry but I still enjoyed it. I tried my partners pancakes and they were delicious especially with the cocowhip.
We had a peanut butter brownie to take away which had the perfect texture and flavours.
The service was quick and the staff were nice. An easy walk from Berwick station. All vegan except dairy for drinks.

All food and smoothies are vegan (they have dairy milk for coffee). I had the Balance Bowl (tofu, curried cauliflower, black beans, sweet potato, rice). It was very flavourful with its sauce and spices. A really nice lunch. Also had the Peanut Butter smoothie. Another visit and some nice nachos.

It was so nice to have lunch at a cafe that was all plant based and gluten free. We don’t need to ask for alterations or worry about cross contamination.

I was really looking forward to coming here. The food options were great but I must say that the food was underwhelming and expensive for what you got. I had the mushrooms on toast and my partner had the pancakes. Both quite nice but we wouldn’t have it again. I also ordered the soy soft serve with granola and fruit. Again quite nice but nothing special

They have a good assortment of dishes that are all vegan and all gluten free, the staff are consistently super friendly, and they have very dog-friendly outside seating.

We enjoyed eating here, it’s a nice atmosphere with friendly staff, everything on the menu is vegan friendly but is labelled ‘plant based’ - they still do serve cows milk for coffee though, hopefully this changes in the future. The quality of the coffee was really good and the food was well presented - though the cafe was quite full we could still hear each other which is a big plus because often restaurants are too loud! Definitely would recommend.

Unless money is no concern of yours and you are feeling peckish, I would avoid this place. I spent $18.50 for avocado on toast, as in one piece of bread. It looks like they sprinkled some 4 leaf mix on top too. Although I must admit, their food looks very presentable, good atmosphere inside and friendly service. There are cheaper places to get more value of the same.

Sunday lunch surprise...came here looking for a specific vegan hair product and stumbled across this gorgeous cafe with delectable pies and cakes to die for! Everything vegan but also gluten free which was an added bonus for me as I could have anything on the menu! Mexican pie with fresh healthy salad and green juice hit the spot but overindulged when faced with the cabinet of amazing cakes! Friendly and efficient staff too!

Mr Black has a beautiful plant based menu and the best part is you can get everything to take-away. There is also always a large variety of raw treats ready to go. Unfortunately they serve cows milk which is really disappointing as they advertise that they have a vegan menu. Hopefully they will remove it.

Id heard of this place before and finally decided to give it a go.. and oh my goodness it was incredible. We wanted to order everything on the menu. The staff were so lovely and the manager obviously really cared about his customers and wanted them to genuinely enjoy the meals. He even came over to us at the end with a complimentary warm brownie and coco whip, for no reason. What special service!

This eatery is certainly welcomed for the area. It's in a league of it's own for the outer south eastern suburbs. The food is delicious and nutritious. Everything is colourful and full of a variety of ingredients. I have seen plants and herbs being grown in the back garden for use in the food. The service is always friendly and the location is peaceful with outdoor and indoor seating. Basically everything is available takeaway and there is a cabinet with sweet treats to choose from as well. The only downer is that I find the food and especially the drinks quite overpriced.. but there's nothing else like this in the area.
