This place is great! - Edit

We stopped here yesterday on our way back home. We had the garlic knots and buffalo cauliflower bites with vegan ranch to start with. Then I had the Spaghetti Funghi and a House salad with vegan cheese and vegan ranch. Hubby had the Mushroom Ravioli (he’s vegetarian). Everything we had was so delicious and the service was fantastic. You won’t be disappointed when eating here. Also, in my opinion, there are a ton of vegan options on their menu- like maybe 40-50% of their menu was vegan or had the option to be made vegan.

It’s so nice to go out to eat at a nice family Italian restaurant and have something other than the usual spaghetti with marinara sauce. I definitely recommend this place and if we lived closer we’d come here all the time. I’d rate this place 5 stars but the app won’t allow me to since it is not a fully vegan restaurant, but I think it deserves 5 stars for actually accommodating vegans.

It's comfort food - Edit

Edited since 2017: They updated their menu which removed the mushroom calamari, which was the main reason we went every time, so that's very sad.

If you want a balanced meal, look elsewhere, this is comfort food, definitely carb and fat heavy. They try to accommodate vegans and I highly appreciate it, but it is impossible to order a salad which you would think would be easier to do. The options are a fried appetizer, a sandwich with fried stuff/sugar heavy, a bland pasta, or a pizza. The pizza is better and cheaper at Mellow Mushroom, for comparison. I'm not sure what changed, but it just isn't as good as it used to be. It's just heavy in bread and salt overall, pretty blend in flavor. I wish they updated their ranch, it just tastes like plain mayo without flavor and is way too thick. Not exactly a foodie's paradise. Until they offer a salad with vegetables (ya know, not just lettuce with cheese and meat removed), protein options, and use more vegetables in their pizzas, I can't recommend them anymore. Their vegan substitutes are cauliflower or jackfruit, so you are definitely lacking in protein and nutrient-dense calories, you will not feel fulfilled but will have a belly full of salt and oil. We used to come in very often until they removed the calamari appetizer, now they do not offer anything special or that you can't make at home easily.

These guys are great! - Edit

Fantastic vegan destination. I've eaten here many times, and the staff is very understanding of dietary needs and always ensures we are taken care of.

The food is delicious, we've had all of the vegan options since they opened, and they continue to update the menu with new even better items.

Everything is good, but definitely try the fried cauli app or the butter bean pasta if you go.

Pros: Great food, Great Service

Cons: None, should be 5 star rating

delicious and lots of vegan options - Edit

My sister and I shared the garlic knots. They were flaky and yummy! Then she had the jackfruit philly and I had a small pizza with vegan cheese. Didn't ask but it tasted like daiya brand. The menu did not specify, but when I got the bill found out they add $2.00 for vegan cheese substitution. A little annoyed, but I kind of expect the upcharge. We both had their house made vegan ranch for dipping which is amazing! I will definitely be going back.

Also loved that their soda fountain has the plain soda water option. I love bubbles but not all the sugar and chemicals in soft drinks.

Service was a little slow when we were there, but it was packed so not a huge deal. Our waitress was attentive and apologetic for the delays.

Pros: delicious vegan ranch, vegan options clearly labeled

We'll go back!! - Edit

We had the garlic knots appetizer $6. Delicious. The bread was perfectly crusty and soft and the marinara served with it was fantastic! I had the Italian Butter Bean Pasta $14. Delicious. The accompanying bread was perfect. Also, the vegan ranch for my salad was very good, too. My beau had the Jackfruit Chikin Philly $12. Delicious. It was a little mushy for my taste, but he loved it. Oh my gosh, the hot chips served with the sandwich were amazing! He had a Diet Pepsi $2.50.

Pros: Excellent Pinterest-worthy atmosphere., Food was delicious with several vegan options., Our server was very attentive and pleasant.

Cons: I found it to be pretty pricey for lunchtime fare., $36+ two entrees, one appetizer, one soda before t

Outstanding Vegan Options - Edit

I wish I could give this joint more stars than just 4; apparently Happy Cow limits a 5 star rating (understandably) for vegan only restaurants, i.e. restaurants that serve zero meat dishes or dairy products. Fantastic vegan options on the menu; my sister and I split the vegan crab cakes as an appetizer and a medium vegan BBQ jackfruit pizza. Both items are soy free for those of us with a soy intolerance or sensitivity.

The service was excellent and the food was superb. Will definitely be back with my partner.

Pros: Excellent, mind blowing good food, Quick and friendly service, Outside seating

Amazing vegan pizza!! - Edit

First off, I was impressed by the menu. There were two already-vegan appetizers, one already-vegan pasta, and the pizza crust used for ALL pizza is vegan! The vegan cheese they use is Follow Your Heart, not Daiya, so it was really delicious! This is my new go-to pizza place!

Pros: Follow Your Heart cheese, Vegan garlic knots, Knowledgeable staff
