Delicious Indian food with a vegan menu - Edit
A great place to go for Indian food in Knutsford with a separate vegan menu. My partners and I shared a mango salad, plant based keema, darjeeling chickpeas, roti and rice. They also have mango or coconut sorbet for dessert. The staff were attentive and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.

A Disastrous Experience at Mowgli Knutsford – Avoid at All Costs! - Edit
I recently visited Mowgli in Knutsford, and I honestly can’t remember the last time I had such an appalling dining experience. From start to finish, everything was a disaster, and it’s safe to say I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Read moreFirstly, the service was a joke. We were greeted with a cold reception by the staff, who seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than acknowledging the guests. We were shown to our table and given menus, but no one bothered to explain the dishes or offer any recommendations, which would have been appreciated, especially as it was our first time there.
It only got worse when we placed our order. After waiting an eternity, the food arrived lukewarm, poorly presented, and not even close to what we had hoped for. The waiter who served us couldn’t care less about whether we were happy with our meals. When we asked for a simple change (a missing ingredient in our dish), the response was rude, and the request was met with an eye-roll.
To make matters worse, when we asked to speak to the manager about our concerns, we were met with an extremely arrogant lady who clearly had no interest in customer satisfaction. Instead of addressing our issues, he belittled us and suggested we were being too picky. This completely ruined any chance of resolving the situation in a pleasant manner.
The atmosphere was no better. The noise levels were unbearable, with clattering plates and loud conversations echoing throughout the restaurant. It felt less like a place to enjoy a meal and more like a chaotic canteen. The general attitude from the staff was off-putting, with no one seeming to take pride in their work or offer any semblance of friendly service.
We were also horrified by the hygiene standards – our table wasn’t cleaned properly before we sat down… For a restaurant of this supposed reputation, I expected much better.
I can’t emphasise enough how terrible this experience was. If you value good service, quality food, and a pleasant atmosphere, do yourself a favour and avoid Mowgli Knutsford. It was truly a nightmare from start to finish, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I wish I could give it 5 stars!! The food is always fresh, tasty and has amazing flavours. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable on dietary requirements/suitable dishes.
