Lunch treat - Edit
First time visit to a Mowgli restaurant. Really liked the separate vegan menu with several options. The waiter was very friendly and informative. We decided to have the set lunch menu so we could choose several dishes. Would highly recommend the food. Shame that £15 each lunch menu cost shot up so much with a couple of drinks each. Would go again, but maybe for a special occasion next time

Dedicated vegan menu - Edit
They offer a dedicated vegan menu here with an array of choices. It’s a beautiful restaurant and conveniently located in the brewery quarter in the centre of Cheltenham. I had the karma keema, and after advising to staff I preferred it less spicy they kindly offered me some vegan yogurt free of charge with my meal. A lovely spot for lunch / dinner

Just don’t sit on the swings as they look fab but are not good on the legs when you sit there through a meal!!

Glos' vegan friendliest non-vegan restaurant - Edit
Extensive separate vegan menu. Great for sharing. Rope swing seats added something a bit different for our occasion (10th birthday lunch with parents). We got 8 plates between the three of us and were stuffed. Cocktails were great. Waiter was very friendly and professional, and told me that they usually give a choc brownie for birthdays but as we ordered from the vegan menu he wanted to offer a sorbet. As it happens we were planning to go to Vegetus for cake afterwards, but were too full from the Mowgli grub, so stopped at the little coffee van near the bus station for vegan hot chocolates instead. Mowgli gets a v high 4 stars - only not a 5 because it's not a vegan establishment.

A lot of flavour but mixed quality - Edit
This chain has a dedicated vegan menu, as well as a full meat menu. The spice mixes and flavourings are great, the food was definitely filling, but it was ultimately nothing special. After trying several dishes from the vegan menu, I feel like I'd sampled all they had to offer as ingredients were repeated quite a bit. I'm unlikely to return but if you haven't been it's something a bit different and worth trying once.
