Not bad!

The food is pretty good, although there’s very little heat to any of the dishes I tried (tiffin box), and it’s a bit spenny. It could be better is all.

Treacle Tamarind Fries

Had a fantastic meal here, the treacle tamarind fries were fantastic and the chickpea curry was also great. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Would definitely eat at Mowglis again.

Pros: Great vegan menu, Swing chairs, Tasty and good value

Cons: Low lighting. Had to read menu with torch on phone

Delicious food!

Mowgli is a very reliable chain - flavourful and satisfying food. Tapas style is great for sharing dishes with friends/family. Brilliant with allergens and huge separate vegan menu ( big separate gluten free menu). Would recommend as a safe bet for good food when in a city centre.

Pros: Huge vegan menu, Great will allergens, Delicious food

Cons: More on the expensive side

Typical chain restaurant

There is a vegan menu which is great. However if you want authentic Indian food you should go somewhere else. The dishes were not really hot. All in all ok as an option for that day but I don't think I'll go again.

Mouthwatering & unique

I got a collection of small curries, all vegan and all are made fresh and the selection varies everyday which means you will be able to try something new every visit.
The chips we had were the best chips I've ever had! A must try.
You can even sit on swings which is super cool.
Definitely worth a visit.

Pros: Vegan , Swing seats , Fresh and unique

Expensive Indian Vegan Tapas

Had lots of vegan options! Very tasty but just very expensive, especially as it’s all small dishes. #Veganuary

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: Expensive

Delicious food, but not a lot of options

The portions are also a bit small and it’s overpriced. That being said, you won’t find a more beautiful sit down restaurant to enjoy a meal with someone special. The food is delicious, though limited.

Delicious food but very noisy

FrI 2 Aug 2019

The setup of the restaurant is unique and authentic although I found it quite noisy which made it a challenge to have a discussion or talk as it was very difficult to hear. It seems that the restaurant has very poor acoustic which negatively impacted our experience.

Best to go off peak time. There is a discretionary £1 donation to their chosen charity that is added to the bill without asking the customer first. It is assumed that it is agreed. I had to request before hand not to add it.
The food however was very delicious, it had the right amount of spices, just enough salt, not oily and it was authentically served in a stainless steel tiffin. Really good Indian food. We ordered a vegan thali and the chef gave a variety of curries. They have a separate vegan menu.

Pros: Full Vegan menu!, Delicious food , Unique layout

Cons: Serves meat, dairy & eggs, Very noisy
