Good find - Edit
Good independent market with a buffet food bar that had mostly vegan dishes and some gluten-free, all clearly marked. Clean and friendly atmosphere. A good find in the area

Supporting local and love it! - Edit
Mountain View Co-op is one of my go to’s for vegan food. For one, they always try it have vegan options in the hot bar. My favorites are the mushroom enchiladas with coleslaw with jalapeños and the corn side, calabicita I think it’s called. They also make a good vegan posole. Secondly, on the weekends they have vegan dishes for brunch! The only thing is they always have the usual tofu scramble and some type of vegan breakfast meat. They try to have a vegan sweet item like pancakes or muffins but it’s not always guaranteed. Lastly, they serve a $3 dinner on Thursday’s that ALSO includes vegan items. This place is so awesome for always thinking of the vegans in the community - that’s why I always land here. A few other pros, they have vegan sandwiches available and the salad bar has lots of options...organic to boot!

Cons: Pricey but it’s local and organic!, Items in the hot bar are dense = pricey

Hot lunch bar is very good - Edit
There are not a lot of vegan choices in Las Cruces, and luckily the hot lunch bar here is very good. Food is hot, fresh, and healthy. Several different choices each week. Not over-seasoned so bring a bottle of Tabasco if you need it. Don't get there as soon as it starts (11:00 AM) because they usually don't have all the dishes out until 11:15. And you can go shopping in the store after you eat.

Cons: Pay by the pound, Not all dishes are ready at the 11:00 opening

Never Disappoints! - Edit
As a gluten free vegan, this place makes it easy! The cafe can customize anything to special needs. All of their sandwiches and soups are delicious and portion sizes are huge! The bread is homemade and it's the only place in town to get fresh pressed juice!

Awesome!!! - Edit
I will come here any time I'm in Las Cruces! The service was friendly, they will make any menu item vegan or gluten-free through substitution (including diaya cheese), just say the 'V' or 'G' word. The food was great, well priced, and adjusted to my dietary needs.
