Great portion sizes! - Edit
I ordered a takeaway via "VG Delivered" so can't comment on the stall itself. The food portions where enormous. I ordered stuffed flatbreads thinking they'd be small and it turned out to be the same size as a 12" pizza. So having a wrap as well allowed me to have enough leftover to have for lunch tomorrow. All food was delicious and felt decently healthy. Definitely full of fibre!

Fantastic for a cold day - Edit
I always find it strange how hard it is to get momos in Scotland. There are plenty of Nepalese and Indian spots, but very few actually offer them.
Read moreI had both types of momo — lightly fried with the spicy dip — which were perfect on a cold Edinburgh day.
As usual, I was greedy and also went for the stuffed paratha with pickle.
Everything was fantastic, and I honestly can’t recommend a visit enough.
I’m posting this review twice, on both listings, to keep things accurate during the merger/update. Unfortunately, HappyCow isn’t making it easy for vegan listings at the moment, which is really disappointing.

Best food stall - Edit
Went here for some grub after an event. The stall is usually there every Saturday at the Saturday market. The food was very tasty and the staff friendly. This is the best stall at that market in my opinion.

A solid choice - Edit
I was passing by on my way to the pub, and decided the aloo paratha would make a nice pre-beer lunch (hey, it was my birthday. Please don’t judge!). It looked lunch-sized, but was impressively substantial and did the job. Gently spicy and filling, I was set up for the day.
Read moreThere were only a couple of seats by the stall, so I went to the nearby Princes Street Gardens to eat with a spectacular view of the castle.
Pros: More food than it looks, Good value for money, Great views
Cons: Little seating, but near a big park
