Pizza and breadsticks

We ordered pizza and breadsticks - our server verified everything for us (dipping sauce, crust, etc). Bring a sharpie to write your name on the wall!

Best vegan pizza I’ve ever had

Had the deep dish vegan with spinach, mushrooms & onion…so delicious! I guess I wasn’t expecting it to be this good, but really I think it’s the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot! Husband had a non-vegan and tasted mine and he said it was better than the non-vegan!

Amazing fried portobello mushrooms

My favourite dish here is the fried portobello mushrooms. They are definitely the star vegan dish in this restaurant. Pizzas are good but it's a hit and miss with the crust as it is sometimes unberbaked and raw in the centre. The spaghetti is ok but noodles are overcooked and limp. Salads are ok.

Pros: Staff is knowledgeable and accommodating, Fast service

Cons: Overcooked pasta noodles, Raw pizza dough in the centre

FYI, I asked about the portobello mushrooms and whatever they are dredged in contains dairy, unfortunately. The server didn't know but went to check and came back and confirmed. Bummer!

Delish!

To order a vegan pizza, be sure to get either the regular or deep dish crust -- the thin crust is not vegan. Vegan cheese, of course. Order their Mother Bear's red sauce (the only confirmed vegan one). We got a half Summer Garden and half Veggie Delight.

Incredible

So many delicious pizza option plus breadsticks and salad. Mother Bear’s is one of the best pizza shops in B-Town!
