Small but excellent

We had some wonderful falafel dishes here. The restaurant doesn't have much seating, but is comfortable and very friendly. The bathroom is functional.

REALLY good!

Excellent, fresh, and tasty falafel. I had the Vegetarian Bowl with falafel. The actual falafel balls are different than the typical fare - light and crunchy (panko on the outside??), and the bowl contained an assortment of REAL vegetables and quinoa. It was terrific. This is in my neighborhood so will definitely be coming back.

The place is located mid-block on nothing-special street and thus, easily missed. It is small but has a few tables inside and one out. The bathroom was not functioning on my visit.

Pros: Excellent Israeli-style street food, 100% vegan, Eat in or takeout

Popular falafel place

Moshe's Falafel has had a food truck parked in midtown that has long been a favorite among New Yorkers and tourists. I am happy to see they now have a brick-and-mortar place.

This small restaurant is counter-serve, with some tables (but no restrooms for customers). The menu is to the point: falafel, Sabich, or cauliflower in a pita, bowl, or plate. The food is very filling and delicious, and reasonably priced: I got a falafel plate, which was enough for two meals.
