Moroccan Soup Bar
Moroccan vegetarian restaurant. Menu changes daily and is given verbally. Serves soups like harira in addition to other items including vegetarian tajine, couscous, eggplant dishes, bean and lentil dishes, and a few others. Owner will ask if you have any dietary requests, such as a vegan diet. Gets busy. A minimum of 6 are required per table to make a booking. Open Tue-Sun 6:00pm-10:00pm.

Yummy dinner spot - Edit
I went here for dinner and they were able to serve us an entirely vegan meal (they have a set menu) and it was all delicious. They seem to have two shifts for meals which meant we felt a bit rushed with waiters wanting to collect our plates before we'd finished eating and being told our time was up at 7:30 (we'd been seated at 6). I suppose it's inevitable but it did detract a bit from the experience, when I go next time I'll know to eat more efficiently!

I'm still full!!! - Edit
So many delicious courses to sample! You will not leave hungry as servings are plentiful and a flavour sensation.
Great Vegan options including desserts.
Quick, friendly service.
Be sure to book as this establishment is always busy and buzzing!
Pros: Great food, Good service
Cons: Parking can be challenging

Save me... - Edit
Omg so much food!
We booked a table of 6 and were given the option of $23 or $28 per head. Fools that we are, we chose the latter... easily enough food to feed 10 people, every dish highly enjoyable.
Highly recommended. Bookings can only be made with a minimum of 6 people. If you do not book, expect to wait an hour, or be turned away.
Pros: Quantity, Quality
Cons: Rather boisterous

Worth the wait! - Edit
I have been here several times now and have yet to be disappointed.
The food is always spot on and they cater so well to vegans.
Pros: Food is so flavoursome , The mint tea is amazing
Cons: Not big enough, Have to get there early to get a table

Best food in Melbourne. - Edit
I would happily eat here every single day. They have vegan options, you just have to ask but generally they ask you first. Very considerate, love the feel of the place. Staff are hard woking & humble. Absolute best food in Melbourne.

One of the best vege joints in town, no doubt - Edit
Haven't had a bad meal here. Get the banquet - plenty of food and it is all good. Mid East style - chickpeas, lentils, etc. Really good quality. The only downside is you can almost never get in. No bookings. So go early or you will have a long wait.
Pros: Really great food
Cons: Very hard to get in, owner a bit scary, no booze

Yum Yum - Edit
Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely attitude.
Bring a pot and get take away, hard to get in to but worth the wait. It's an institution for a reason!

One of the best - Edit
I can hardly believe this place has not been reviewed already, it is a must eat at for anyone interested in veg food.
To be honest, the only downside is that you need to book because it's so popular, don't miss it.
Pros: Inexpensive, Great atmosphere, Very good food
Cons: Usually booked out

the best thing to order there - Edit
Okay, if you are not vegan - get the chickpea dish - best thing on the menu and one of my favourite dishes of all time. Chickpeas, yoghurt, almonds, bread ( I think cooked in butter) so nice.
I think they only take bookings for larger groups and you often have to wait for a table (elsewhere - no spare room here). Often shut during school holidays.
Casual no fuss and very tasty.

FOOD! - Edit
The menu given verbally is difficult, since they said a banquest for $18 we decided just to get that.
The starter is dips and bread, then some mixed dishes and tea. Deserts are not vegan and we didnt have coffee so $17
Seems quite nice, not good for gulten free, I think you would miss out on a lot of food.
Pros: Variety, quick service, Vegan options
Cons: A little sweet tasting, verbal menu
