Vegan focaccia with veggies and hummus - Edit
The focaccia was quite nice, fulfilling, it's already an option on the menu. It's with hummus, sweet potatoes, beetroot and some other vegetables. Smthe waitress was nice because she told me they could also make a salad vegan, taking out the feta.

Sweet café - Edit
This is a cozy cafe inside the old town of Fredrikstad. They always have 1-2 vegan options on the menu, which is rare in that area. Cozy vibes and good food.

A gem in Gamlebyen, Fredrikstad - Edit
As vegans, we were very happy to find this gem of a place in Gamlebyen (The Old Town) on out day trip to Fredrikstad. They hand a few vegan options, and we had the foccacia sandwich with crispy cabbage and sweetpotato. It was served with a vegan aioli dressing. The atmpsphere is super cozy, and the staff friendly and accomodating. Loved it!

Read moreI ordered foccacia with houmous. Swapped out paprika which I think is pepper for beetroot. Served with cashew and leaves. It was so good. Big portion. Good price. Presented lovely.

Mormors Cafe i Gamle Fredrikstad - Edit
They have some vegetarian and vegan options (marked with V), but the staff might not have full control of which is what, so I had to ask specifically about the ingredients in the dishes. My dish wasn't V-marked, but was definitely vegetarian, and I have to trust it was vegan as they said. Totally worth the patience! Such tasty foccacia sandwich and large portion! Big plus that the dish was so colourful and appetizing too! Really positive experience!
