10 inch vegan pizza will cost you $20

ridiculous prices pizzas are too small

If you want four toppings on a 10 inch pizza prepare $30

Expensive but tasty

Mootz can accommodate GF and/or vegan (or both). Our server was knowledgeable. But the upcharges were wild. My small pizza (4 slices with 4 toppings and vegan cheese) was the same price as my friends' large non-vegan pizza that served two.
In late night downtown Detroit, it's a solid option. And I will say the pizza was tasty! Not sure I would go out of my way to eat there if other Detroit options are available to me.

Pros: Knowledgeable server, Easy to "veganize" menu items, Gluten free options

Cons: Upcharges for GF and toppings, Upcharge for vegan pizza, Only one GF/vegan size option

Nice for a group

Went with a group during a work conference and we all (vegetarian, gf, and not) found things we liked. Service was great.

Good pizza

I got the pizza to go. The vegan options are well-marked on their online ordering system. You have to select the vegan sauce, crust, and cheese. They had a vegan tax. The pizza was good. The cheese was good quality. Although, I wasn’t a huge fan of the dough—I little crunchy for me, but it is fine.

Okay but upcharge for vegan crust

Their standard crust has milk in it, which means you have to pay an up-charge for their GF/vegan crust, plus an up-charge for vegan cheese. I understand those ingredients cost more, but on principle, I’m not going out of my way to pay an extra $7 for a small pizza. I finally gave in on a very busy night downtown and this was the only place we could get into. The pizza was actually pretty good. One other con is that our non-alcoholic beverages came in single serve containers. At that price point, I kind of expect glasses. I wouldn’t go back or necessarily recommend it, but I appreciate the vegan options and it’s okay in a pinch

I was going to write my own review but yeah basically this exactly. Expensive from all the up charges and the single serve bottle is a sad face. May 2024.

Great food

There isn't a specifically vegan pizza on the menu, but you can build your own pizza with vegan cheese & crust. The crust only comes in the small size though

Few options

There isn’t a specific vegan pizza on the menu but they do have vegan crust and vegan cheese so ask if you can get that topped with veggies. No meat substitute options.
