terrible for vegan - Edit

Unless you want an ok salad, they don't offer any other vegan options. You can't even get a cheeseless pizza since none of their crusts are vegan.

Cons: no vegan cheese, no vegan crust

not vegan but they try - Edit

If they have vegan cheese - ask for light on cheese as vegan cheese makes pizza soggy. Love the white pizza - my favorite. Ask for vegan options and ask for comment card - if we keep asking = vegan purchase power = things will change!

Not vegan. - Edit

The wheat crust has honey = not vegan despite the other reviewers lack of understanding on the subject. The white crust has milk = not vegan. I can't speak to the contents of the gluten free crust. No vegan cheese.

Pros: Good beer

Cons: No vegan cheese, White/Wheat crust not vegan

Vegan Pizza at Mooses Tooth! - Edit

Want vegan items at the Mooses Tooth? The wheat crust is vegan (but does have honey if that's a no go for you). Order a medium or small pizza in wheat with no cheese and you should be happy! Also the raspberry vinegar eye and ginger salad are also vegan. Roasted garlic and plain wheat breadsticks are great vegan appetizers.
You can also get a flash baked pizza to go, and bake some daiya cheese on it when you bake it the rest of the way back home.

An Anchorage tradition - Edit

When I moved to Anchorage, I was told I HAD to visit the Mooses Tooth. It is always busy and you can usually expect to wait a few minutes. There are both indoor and outdoor waiting areas, as well as a bar where you can usually get immediate service. There is a brewery - they also brew their own root beer - and gift items as well. Growlers are available and there are often new brews and special events. The food is good and plentiful. Prices are competitive. Both a family friendly and date place. If you visit Anchorage, visit the Mooses Tooth.

Pros: Good food, large portions, versatile

Cons: Wait, Noisy

rayhay94 14 Jul 2014 - Not vegan friendly :(
Dough has eggs in it. Whole wheat dough has honey and gluten free has eggs. So sad
