Can make almost anything vegan

They can make almost anything vegan and the food is very tasty. They have impossible crumbles, vegan cheese shreds, vegan cashew cream sauce, and vegan green chili to sub on dishes. I love getting the veganized New Mexico enchiladas.

Pros: Lots of vegan substitutes, Delicious

Grew up eating Moose Hill

This was my favorite place before I went vegan. Since then I haven’t found their food to be very flavorful. Perhaps eating cleaner my tastebuds have changed. It’s disappointing though because of the history.

Pros: They have vegan options, Nostalgia

Cons: Flavorless

Pretty good!

My family went to Moosehill growing up (not vegan) and I was surprised/glad to hear they now offer vegan options!

The server was great, and let me know they have veggies, vegan meat and cheese. The menu is a little confusing because the mark vegetarian, but not vegan.

I got a burrito with impossible meat and black beans, with vegan green chili, it was great and reminded me of my youth going there!

Will visit again!

Pros: Options , Local business, Nostalgia

Cons: Unclear menu

Not for serious vegans

Upon entering the restaurant, one is greeted by the giant head of what was once a majestic moose. It was pretty shocking. 🙀 The service was poor— it seemed that the hostess was inconvenienced by our request to be seated outdoors. Furthermore, while our waiter was somewhat knowledgeable, he seemed quite annoyed when I asked about vegan options. The chips and salsa were vegan (the chips were store-bought), and did not taste very good. We were also served shredded cabbage that was on its way to being rancid. I ordered a black bean and veggie burrito with guacamole. Unfortunately the guacamole was rotten and tainted the flavor of the burrito even after I scraped it off. I would not recommend this place to a vegan, nor would I recommend it to anyone looking for authentic TexMex. Honestly, I would have been so much happier ordering a burrito from Chipotle.

Pros: Outdoor seating, Proximity to mountains, Offered mushrooms

Cons: Bad customer service, Food not fresh

Green chili

It’s hard to find good vegan green chili but it’s great here and that’s why I go.

Pros: Green chili, Vegetarian/vegan menu on request

Cons: Not a lot of parking, Fast service

More expensive Taco Bell

This place would be good for carnivores but I wouldn’t recommend for vegans or vegetarians. The food reminded me of a more expensive Taco Bell. The service was good but overall food was only okay.
