Moonshine is out of this world! 🌖

This darling cafe with a cool vibe is the perfect addition to the burgeoning culinary scene in historic Cocoa Village.
The French Toast rocked our world and the Florentine Benedict was exquisite. There are several versions of the Eggs Benedict so we’ll be back to work through them all. Couldn’t resist taking the Basil Breakfast Bowl to go and it did not disappoint! If you are visiting the Space Coast, Moonshine is a must try!!!

Pros: Friendly & knowledgeable staff, Wide variety of unique options , Everything was delicious

Very good vegan food

Very good vegan food in Cocoa Village. Extensive menu. Friendly service.

I went with the rebel sandwich with fries that was tasty and filling.

Slightly expensive yet good quality food.

My friend got the rebel sandwich with a salad.

Our other friend went with the California potatoes.

Everything is made in house. Recommended.

Wonderful food and atmosphere

My family enjoys this restaurant so much. The food is delicious. My kids enjoy so many dishes too! Dine in and take out. My son also has an allergy and they have always been so accommodating for that. The food is delicious. I usually get two meals out of it with how full it makes me. Great people too!! We love it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!!

Pros: Food is amazing, Very filling, usually enough for another meal, Dine in and take out

Cute spot with delicious options

Food was enjoyable, I was very excited to have some Kind Cleaver seitan for the first time in a year.

The space is very lovely and small, prices are on the higher end but the quality matches that. The cauliflower was great, we got the buffalo. We got carrot cake to go and it was moist and delicious.

I will absolutely make the drive out here again.

Super Yummmm

We drive way out of our way when passing anywhere near Cocoa Village to get to this restaurant. Such a great vibe. Food is OUTSTANDING. Healthy but also yummm. They have adult beverages too, so fun! We ate there again today and decided to order 4 separate meals to go so we can enjoy some MoonShine for DAYZZ. Trust, this groovy little place delivers. You will love it Cocoa Village is so cute!

Excellent!

Wow! What a wonderful surprise this place was. A great find. Spent the day in Historic Coca Village and stumbled upon their kitchen by happenstance using Apple Maps. I will be back! Excellent choices, delicious flavors…An epic win! I even brought a non vegan with me who completely thought she was eating eggs. Very, very well done!

Pros: Great flavors, Great selection , Reasonable prices

Not fully vegan. Servers Bee's Honey 🤬

Walked in and walked out. Using bee's and they honey is not a vegan. Owner claimed bee's honey is debatable amongst vegans. Wrong. Using bee's for human use is not vegan. When you know better, you do better. This business needs to be removed from the vegan food section and cannot use the term "fully vegan". Anyone who understands vegan and veganism doesn't see any animal for what they can do for human use. One word - Agave.

Cons: Uses animals , Uses honey, Misunderstands fully vegan

Hi Friend,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We understand and respect that honey is a sensitive and important topic for many in the vegan community. Everything we make in-house is 100% vegan, and we’re committed to maintaining high standards in our kitchen.

We do offer Big Dog Kombucha—a locally made kombucha that contains honey—as an optional beverage. We carry it to support a fellow small business in our community and because some of our customers specifically request it. That said, it’s clearly labeled and not used in any of our dishes or food prep.

While we respect your definition of veganism, it’s also true that views on honey vary within the broader vegan community. We aim to be transparent, inclusive, and community-driven in how we operate.

We hope you’ll give us another chance to show you how delicious and ethical our food truly is. Thanks again for holding us to high standards—it’s how we grow.

Warmly,
Lauren

Expensive, but very good

Really nice restaurant, a bit pricey though. I had the rosemary parmesan chicken dish and it was quite good. I chose the Caesar salad as a side and it was super fresh. For dessert, I ordered a hazenult cheesecake and it was delicious - sweet taste and creamy texture. Loved it!

Literally the best! But….

As the title says. Literally the BEST food in Brevard! I love everything I’ve had there and go every chance I get. Only down side is I’m only human and can only eat so much! Love the staff, love the food!

Reuben sandwich ⚡️

I will, without a moments hesitation, always order a reuben if it’s a menu item. But what really sealed the deal was the fact they use Kind Cleaver meats! I knew I was in for a good time. It was delicious.

I also ordered the mac & cheese and honestly it was not good at all. I do not suggest anyone wasting their money on that. Maybe it was just a weird day in the kitchen 🤷‍♀️

The customer service was friendly! I’d come here again 💕

**Update, we came back the next morning for breakfast and it was phenomenal.

Amazing

The brunch is incredible, full stop. You can take your non-vegan friends and family and they won’t know the difference. The decor is super vibey, it’s obvious a lot of care went into to building this place out. I’d be here every weekend if I lived closer!

Pros: No-compromise comfort food, Friendly staff

Very good....but

I've eaten here twice, and both times the food was yummy. I was ecstatic to have a new place to eat as options in BrevardCounty are limited. However, both times, our lunch checks were well over $70 for 2 people. I just wish it was more affordable. I'll go back, but not too often.

Pros: Good selection to choose from., My carnivorous husband really liked his meals., The atmosphere and service are good.

Cons: Pricey!!!!, Sometimes a little slow.

Super cute restaurant!

I had a really nice time at this restaurant. The waitstaff was so friendly and I got a chance to meet and speak with their Greek owner, Christos. I was attending a vegan festival at Cocoa Riverfront Park and decided to try out this restaurant. I was not disappointed. I had an appetizer of wings and their apple crisp à la mode for dessert. I would’ve ordered a main dish, but I had already snacked at the festival so ordered something small. I can’t wait to come back! Worth the hour’s drive from my place in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Pros: Exciting menu, Healthy options

Vegan but not whole food or fresh

The menu is vegan but almost everything on it is a processed prepackaged meat substitute. No t much is made fresh in house: We are on vacation and it’s so hard to follow a whole food plant based diet. We were really happy to find a vegan restaurant and traveled 25 minutes from our hotel but we were so disappointed to find that we couldn’t eat there.

Lkecskes

You're correct we do carry a variety of meat substitutes to appeal to those who aren't vegan. However our menu is full of made from scratch items such as all our deli meats, korean bbq, chickpea salads, sweet potato burgers and much more. I'm sorry we weren't able to meet your expectations.

Jheleniak,
You "couldn't" eat there apparently only because of you have an arbitrary rule to never eat processed, premade ingredients? Yeah, I understand that WFPB foods are the ultimate, but an occasional "processed" vegan item is not going to hurt any vegan's health. Don't take the vegan thing to such an extreme that it becomes unnecessarily frustrating and impractical. When you left, where did you go? To some other average restaurant where you had to order a salad, a cup of fruit or a side of fries? There aren't many options out there, which gets me regularly frustrated when I have to stop at an average restaurant and figure out something I can order that's actually satisfying, not too unhealthy, and not too much of a pain to communicate with the waiter/waitress about the vegan modifications I want... and then hope that it doesn't show up at the table with sour cream or cheese on it (which happens to me often!) or some other major screw-up. Here's an article that I really like about having a more realistic perspective on "processed" foods: https://www.wired.com/story/processed-foods/
And the formulations of those plant-based meat substitutes are getting better now that they are using avocado oil, etc.

This place has some of the best vegan food in Florida. Cocoa is lucky to have such a diverse, creative, and delicious menu of options. The breakfast menu is the best I've seen anywhere - so many choices. The desserts are also phenomenal. I only wish I could eat here more often!

Great food.

I got the Royale burger and fried pickles. I was curious about the sunny side up egg, but it was fantastic. It was, I think how I remember them to taste? lol, maybe I shouldve brought an Omni w me to judge that. But staff was friendly and food was delicious.
