Really good vegan buffet

I was hungry when I arrived, and satisfied when I left. The buffet had lots of variety of good choices. I had a really nice burger, salad with hummus, excellent channa masala, califlower, and fried potatoes. The kamboucha was unsweetened, which was nice. The cake looked good, but I was too full!

Pros: Really good vegan buffet , Friendly

Cons: A bit pricey, but reasonable for what you get

EXPENSIVE.

Food is OK, but I'm not coming back.
My plate was 9€ and I decided to add two slices of sweet potato, and suddenly it was 12€. No, I'm not even kidding. I knew it was price by weight, but omg. I also bought a thin slice of cake for 3,90€. After paying and sitting, I went back to the counter to ask for some tap water and a napkin. He gave me the napkin as fast as he told me NO for the tap water. What a shame.😒

Pros: You can choose whatever you want from the buffet.

Cons: Expensive. Not worthy. Overrated.

Unfortunately closed

We wanted to check out the place during their opening time- we stood in front of closed doors, without any information note.

Soooo goood!

Best place in Brussels!😄Delicious food, very healthy and full of variety. You pay by the weight. Not overpriced.
Really good to find a place that doesn't give you that feeling of greasy and fast food. An Oasis in the heart of Brussels ;)

Pros: Raw, Gluten free, Deserts

Decent vegan cafe near Brussels central station

Decent self-service vegan restaurant, where the food is sold by weight. Not cheap but the food is tasty.

Pros: Fully vegan

Good but a little expensive

Been here twice. It's a buffet with both raw & cooked food, which is nice, and a lot of space to sit. I would say most of the food is quite good, and some of it is a little bland. It's on the expensive side though, 2.7 euros per 100 g last time I went and it adds up quickly if you're hungry.

Pros: Big, Raw & cooked buffets, All vegan

Cons: Little expensive

So overpriced for average food, our last meal in Brussels. Disappointing.

My friends plate came to £18 and mine was £16, it was a shock at the till when we were told the price. The food was very average, I would have left one star but HappyCow wouldn’t allow me to. Better places elsewhere for less.

Cons: Overpriced

Selection of organic food

Moonfood is situated in a really good place, just outside of the train station and the establishment itself is very spacious and lovely. Some of the selections from the buffet were great and others not so much, a bit hit and miss. I’d say avoid the burger as it was quite dry and the bun was crunchy, not the best but some of the stews were amazing! I’d say the food is quite pricey for what it is with a full plate setting me back around €20 but my guess is they charge so much due to its location. Worth paying a visit if you’re into healthier food.

Pros: Organic food , Plenty of choice

Cons: Expensive for what you get

Organic self-serve food at a premium price

The food here is average, it's vegan and organic which are big pluses. The prices are ridiculous though. It cost me 22 euros for a medium-large sized plate of food. Everything is paid by weight so it makes no difference if you have sushi or potatoes on the plate, the price is the same. Some things were priced separately, like the pancakes, which were 5 euros for one pancake! There's better all-vegan options in Brussels for sure.

Pros: organic, fully vegan

Cons: very expensive, average tasting food

A good selection

We stopped here for dinner and had a good meal. I usually don’t like buffets but it was nice to pick and choose what I wanted and how much of each item. I had a lot of thinks but I especially enjoyed the raw lasagne. Would come here again if we return to Brussels.

Pros: Vegan, Serve yourself, Lots of seating

Cons: Not everything looked fresh

overpriced and "too healthy"...

I went there three times- once for lunch, twice for dinner. Food is really expensive for what it is, as well as has no taste... At the beginning I thought that it is maybe just "too healthy" for me and raw food tastes like that. But no- I went to other places with raw food and it was delicious. Sorry Moonfood, coz you are so close to my office, but I am not going to visit you again :(

Pros: raw food, bufet

Cons: super expensive

It's OK...

First of all, the place looks really nice. You pay most of the food by weight (it's a buffet), which is interesting, but it gets very expensive if you want to have a substantial meal. The food is good, it looks and tastes like the average home-cooked meal (the lasagna looked pretty sad though...). And it's all raw vegan and gluten free.

Disappointing for the money we spend

WANTED TO GIVE ONLY 1 STAR, apparently not possible for vegan restaurants.

We paid €26 for two plates, for a disappointing lunch. Since it is buffet style we expected everything to be kept fresh. But the burgers were barely lukewarm and the bun was tough. The cauliflower was also barely lukewarm and hadn't had much taste, same goes for the mushrooms. We only picked from plates that looked appetizing, there were loads of near empty trays out with only stuff dried to the sides and some lost bits scattered.

Additionally, bathrooms (both men and women) were super dirty, broken door handle on the women side, and a clogged almost overflowing sink, I wonder when they were last cleaned.

When we left, we noticed multiple half-finished plates left by other customers. An awkward sight in this type of establishment.

Pros: They only serve vegan food.

Cons: Leather chairs in an fully vegan joint?, Lukewarm, dried, tasteless food., Bad and dirty bathrooms.

Old dry food

Nice to have a vegan spot in the center but unfortunately food was mediocre and looked old, especially the empty dishes of dry quinoa, old pasta, and dried out lasagna. Raw green salad was ‘dead’ and unappetizing. The dips looked the best but not much to put them on. I got the only thing that looked eatable, chickpeas burger. It was okay. Bread a little dry, patch of ketchup, an average patty - 8 euro, and it left me hungry.

Pros: Central location

Cons: Old food, Mediocre flavors, Low quality for this price

Fresh Buffet

Had a short visit to Brussels and was so happy to find a delicious ALL VEGAN restaurant near the train station. There were two buffet tables-- one with raw foods and one with cooked foods-- with lots of choices. I was there at an "off" time so was the only guest--the friendly staff member told me her favorites (the raw sushi with riced cauliflower ! delicious!).

Pros: Variety of raw and cooked vegan , Great value

Liar thief project

Ultra liberalist/capitalist project. Not 100% vegan, some fish, honey, leather, ... and absolutly not 100% organic and absolutly not 100% gluten free (beer yeast everywhere).
Im a vegan from Brussels and sorry, but i hate this place.
Its also very expensive for that quality food.
