Questionable Vegan Options - Edit
There is no labeling to explain which options are vegan.
Read moreThe options which say “vege” on the label are questionable. Asking the staff was unpleasant as they were very unsure of what options were vegan, and I’ve heard different answers that came from different staff members for different items in the cabinet.
Food allergies and dietary requirements should be taken seriously.

False advertising - Edit
Unfortunately, I had an extremely close call today while ordering from this establishment. The staff member whom served me was very dismissive and did not seem to have any care for my dietary requirements. Only after multiple inquiries and consulting with other members of staff, did I find out that many of the ‘vegan’ options I was about to consume were not in fact vegan friendly.

Be aware if you're vegan or vegetarian! - Edit
I have visited here three times and every time I've gotten a different response. The first time I was told the teriyaki tofu don was a vegan option so I ordered it twice. I found out on my third visit that they put chicken stock with their teriyaki sauce after having eaten it twice, so it shouldn't be advertised as being vegetarian. The staff's excuse was that all restaurants use chicken stock in their teriyaki sauce, in which case it's not even vegetarian! I was also told the miso was vegan friendly but found out on my second visit that they used fish stock in it. Every time it has seemed as though they just want me to stop asking questions and just pay for my order. The service was so poor on my third visit that I cancelled my order and will not be going back again. Sadly Moon Sushi & Eatery will have misled many vegans and vegetarians.

Reasonably priced sushi. So many options. Nice dine-in atmosphere. Friendly staff.
