Good food and not too busy! - Edit
Funny how sometimes you wish a place you like was not so good that it's always busy! Well Mood was very good and bizarrely very quiet on the Monday evening we went. Which was great ! No one to push past to get to the loo, no annoying kids screeching and ruining the atmosphere and of course the full attention of the staff!
Read moreMood has a selection of 7 main meals and 4 starter/side dishes, we tried 6 of them between the 4 of us. Sadly the Dahl wasn't available. The Wacky Nori dish and the Superbowl were great and everything else tasted good too. We splashed out on a big bowl of chips too which had a little too much salt added, funny how it isn't left to the customer to choose how much salt to poison oneself with innit?
Their was a solitary cake dessert on offer and it was a tad underwhelming but went down nicely with the above average teas we chose, all the same!
Four of use ate well for £88 - after a bit of confusion with the bill... why was I so honest?!? Not bad for central London!
Recommended
Pros: An all vegan friendly space., Tasty and good portions., Good tea options
Cons: Uninspired dessert options., Over salted chips.

Great find - Edit
I really enjoyed my first visit and will definitely return. The space is lovely and the Superbowl delicious. The only let down was the overly sweet macaron but I can’t mark the place down for that as it was well priced and others may like the sugar hit.

Tasty superbowl - Edit
I tried the superbowl to takeaway. It had a nice mix of salads, tasty seitan pieces, and strips of pitta on top. It was quite filling. I'd go back to try more options. They had a wide range from burgers to curry.
Read moreThe superbowl was freshly put together, and I was offered a seat and a glass of water whilst I waited.
Edit: I've returned a couple of times and found service to be a bit hit and miss.

Good superbowl - Edit
The superbowl was very fresh and filling, and the seitan pieces were very tasty. However my friend's sushi portion wasn't worth the price imo.

Excellent food, customer service and good vibes! - Edit
I had a lovely experience eating at this cafe/restaurant. The staff were super friendly and everything I had was perfect in every way (presentation, taste, speedily received food). The cappuccino was the best i’ve had and the sushi thing is as good as happy maki in brighton.

Feedback:
Work on the cookies. They were kind of inedible. And had a weird burnt taste. Also, out some ketchup/sauces on table. Everyone was super busy and I wasn’t able to get anyone’s attention to ask for ketchup.

Appealing new opening - Edit
This was much nicer inside than I expected from the stylised photos which suggested more of a fast food counter. They were happy to put my Superbowl salad in my bamboo box to takeaway and it was just as the previous reviewer described. Cakes looked bought in but I enjoyed my lemon tart.
Read moreA welcome addition in this area which is short on vegan places. The wait time was short but it was fairly quiet. Hope they get busier as word spreads and can keep the quick turnaround to entice impatient office workers!
Pros: Friendly service, Great feature wallpaper and plants

Food Needs To Improve - Edit
Given the location of this restaurant, it could be some people's only interaction with vegan food and the current fare is not good enough to sell veganism, especially for the price. Richmond bacon in a shop bought bun for the bacon sandwich - very underwhelming and the cookies just taste like Demerara sugar with no balance and are slightly overcooked (burnt). The burger was better - but is still composed of mostly shop bought ingredients that you can also get far cheaper at wetherspoons. The sushi style pockets were probably the highlight but are again very expensive for what they contain. I personally think the menu and overall vibe needs a rethink - especially as the service and welcome were very blasé. I don't like criticising plant based places but this is hopefully constructive, as, to be honest, this is the most disappointing trip I've had to a new place in some time.

Read moreIt’s a short stroll from Covent Garden in a quieter area which means you’re more likely to be able to grab a table (and a much less hectic atmosphere!)
