Burgers & Fries - Edit
I hate to say it but I wasn’t blown away by Monty’s! I had heard so much about them and I was so excited to try while visiting LA. I was sort of underwhelmed. Everything was fine but I wasn’t blown away by any means. Also the burger was quite pricey. $15 for a double burger with no fries is a lot in my opinion. The meal was fine but I wouldn’t feel the need to return.

Excellent vegan boogers - Edit
One of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever had. Fried chikin sandwich was also great. Fries and tots were slightly above average. Excellent sauces/aioli for dipping. I would totally go back, but not at night. Surrounding area is a bit dodgy.

Best vegan chicken sandwich! - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious and I loved the punk diner vibe (great art and decor). I had the chicken sandwich which was super thick and crispy, probably the best I’ve ever had. My cousin (who is not vegan) had the double burger and LOVED it. We tried the sriracha aioli and house sauces and both were super yummy! Fries were ok, but tater tots were delish. You can go 50/50 on fries and tater tots, but next time I would go all in on the tots. Also, don’t bother with the cookies. They’re small and not that great. I would 100% go back and highly recommend!

But loud music! We liked our fries and the ranch and house dipping sauces. We were hoping for homemade burgers but the chicken was solid! Sit in the back in the booths for more quiet!

American but cruelty free - Edit
Decadence for all! My partner was ecstatic to sink his teeth into some karma-free comfort food and I satisfied my sweet tooth with a coffee shake and my salty and spicy teeth with fries and habanero sauce- which I want to smother my whole life in 🤤
Read moreThe decor is snappy and very 'grammable if you're into that sort of thing. There's just something so fun about sipping on a shake across from your sweetie in a red vinyl booth. Just wish the music fit the punkabilly aesthetic

Kale salad! - Edit
I came here with my yoga training group and let me start by saying I’m not a burger person or fast food person. Our mentor who loves Ⓥ burgers said this one beats Honeybee and Mr. Charlie’s. I had the one healthy thing on the menus - the kale salad - and it was great. The retro vibe is worth the price of admission.

Okay burgers, okay fries - Edit
Incredibly delicious chicken sandwiches!!! Would not get the cheeseburger again ever as it was not impressive but the chicken sando made up for it and I will always get that when I go there. The chicken was pretty realistic and for a second I panicked 😅 fries were just fries but the special sauce was amazing! My soda was also super syrupy and too sweet.

The United States of Hamburgers - Edit
My first meal on US soil since 2019. Thanks for the soft landing. The Strawb Milkshake was the highlight, fresh whole fruit on top and more chunks blended inside an Oatly based soft ice cream sugar magic package. Might have been sprinkles too, Idk. Felt like a dream.
Read moreTo be clear, this is junk food, but in the best way. I ordered the burger even though Impossible is a bullshit company only because I wasn't alert enough after an eleven day ordeal traveling from Asia to notice the fried chicken sando. Mercifully, it was a slight and unobtrusive patty, because too much of that stuff I find revolting.
The basket of fries and tots was enough to feed six kids or one fat ass like me. I chose the habanero sauce which was sufficiently spicy to keep me from being too remiss for having landed back once again the United States of Hamburgers.
Hopefully, these mofos take over the world and we can rename it The United States of Monty Burgers. Maybe just a fluke, but I asked the awesome cashier if she was vegan and the answer was yes for which she received a well earned cash reward. Good burger indeed.
Pros: Oat Milk Shake, Open late-ish, Employs vegans

Chicken Sandwich is the best - Edit
I don’t care much for burgers so I ordered Charlie’s Chicken Sandwich and it exceeded my expectations. You get a thick piece of plant-based fried chicken in a soft, sweet brioche bun that’s slathered with Veganaise. It comes with pickles. I ordered mine with lettuce and tomato for a little extra. It’s a messy good sandwich so grab plenty of napkins. The Strawberry Milkshake is made with Oatly’s, vanilla soft serve and strawberries. They served it with a straw and a spoon to scoop the strawberries that sink to the bottom. Monty’s is great before a Dodgers game (it’s near Dodger Stadium.) or really anytime you are craving a chicken sandwich, burger, fries and milkshake. My one complaint is that they don’t offer a more healthier options than the one Caesar salad on the menu.

Good burger indeed - Edit
I had a classic single burger, it was good. I got plenty of potatoes with my order. I appreciate that they do 50/50 fries and tots. I got a 1/2 strawberry shake, awesome portion. The shake was my favorite, could’ve gone with a regular size easily! Apparently their soda is house-made, I don’t drink soda, but it seemed appealing!

Slow & Stale - Edit
Online ordered a meal and a shake just to wait around half an hour inside the place. It was seemingly very disorganized with handing out the wrong items, several people trying to do different things, and just lack of general order. When we got our food it was cold and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The French fries were average and the shakes were good but really nothing special. I appreciate the idea behind it but they used the worst dairy free cheese, bad taste and consistency. Maybe we just came on a bad night but it was so expensive that I don’t think I would try it again.

Best vegan burger that I have ever found! - Edit
This was my first time coming here, but I have been following them on IG for ever. Their burger was amazing (bf let me take a bit). This is the best option. The chik’n sandwich was good, but not that convincing. They give a ton of fries, well seasoned, and crispy/soft at the same time. The food is always made to order. The ambiance was wonderful! I loved the neon lights, the music, and how friendly the staff is. You can get free pins and stickers to show support! Highly highly recommend!!

Delicious!!!! But slowwww - Edit
Definitely gotta love all the options, all the salt, all the sugar 😋 I think the fries could be better- they’re a little soggy. Also we waited for a really long time- definitely feels like this should be more of a fast food situation. But of course will be back for more plant based deliciousness!!!!

Burgers are good - Edit
Burgers are good! That’s the most important part, right? Definitely agree they’re pricey. We were more disappointed with our shakes - three of us got three different flavors and none of us liked them. Mine tasted just like straight up chocolate syrup. Fries were good, nothing special. Tots were yum! Overall just fine, yaknow? I think it’s worth a try, still.

Delicious Burgers - Edit
Really cute spot, and a delicious vegan burger to boot! It's a bit expensive, though - a friend and I went, and two burgers, a side order of tater tots, and two soft drinks were about $40. We were on vacation, so I didn't mind splurging, but if it was a typical day I probably would've seen the price and skipped it.

Unreal good but also pricey - Edit
I've never had a vegan burger like this before. The sauce couples with the burger so well – I wish there were one where I live. I'll be thinking about it for a long time to come :)
Read moreThe fries were also great (and a huge portion – 1 order for two is more than enough), and I loved the strawberry shortcake shake.
