Yummy Fast Casual Burgers - Edit
Everything was delicious! I had the burger, fries (with house sauce), and a small chocolate shake. Fries were fresh and crispy. The burger had a good balance of salty, savory, sweet, fresh, and crispy. I would prefer a slightly larger patty for the price, but it was done well. The chocolate shake was by far my favorite - it tasted so much like a Wendy’s frosty! One of the reasons I bumped it down to four stars though was that this location had a very strange smell throughout - almost smelled like old plastic or rubber or paint or something. It might have been a one-off weird thing, but kind of distracted from the experience.

Stoked to have finally checked this location out, I got super lucky ghoul status and VIP parking upon arrival on hill. Across the street from new El Moro (Vegan Churros).

Got the chicken sandwich and a root beer float because where else are you going to get a vegan float? The milkshakes looked good too, but those can be had in any major city.
Pricing was decent. Lots of seating. Food came out fast. Good jams playing.

Read moreIt was past midnight and was in the area looking for something filling, was glad to see Monty’s nearby. I’d had a long day and the staff was helpful in guiding me with my order. The double cheeseburger was like a nice diner double cheeseburger, the cheese on it was nice and melty and the pickles on it gave it a good texture variation. I had ordered the Nashville hot dry rub tenders and was hesitant because I normally prefer a wet sauces up tender/wing, the Nashville dry rub was amazing! The side of habernero allowed me to have a sauced up bite if I wanted it. I would come back for the tenders with the Nashville dry rub for sure. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing and they have free refills so I refilled my cup to go. Check it out if you like diner style eats or love a good flavorful chicken tender.

If you fancy a dirty burger, fries/tots then Monty’s is the spot. It’s delicious and perfect if you want a late satisfying bite. I also like they do a small size in the milkshakes too! As I always struggle with standard sized ones.

Read moreMy go to is the Monty’s single cheeseburger burger and it’s delicious. As a burger spot in LA it’s probably the best, with nomoo.
Only negative is it’s kind of insane how expensive it is. A small meal for 2 can easily hit $60…would be 5 star but I just find the price crazy. If the ambiance in the place was better too I could forgive it but it’s no nicer than a fatburger or something pretty low end.

We traveled all the way from Brazil to try the Almighty Monty's. It has exceeded our expectations by far. Super tasty shakes, great burgers and the hardcore hints at the decor are a blast. We loved it and we're planning to go back again.

i got the single cheeseburger, animal fries, and oreo 1/2 shake and it was sooooo good. the best animal fries i’ve ever had (even better than in-n-out) and i used to work at in-n-out before going vegan so i know what i’m talking about lol. and i loved that they have a 1/2 shake option! the oreo shake was so good and it wasn’t too sweet or too much

Montys are consistently great. They've changed their buns to a more brioche style, and it's definitely improved them alot. Their tots are to die for, and their house made sodas are fire. Shame they got rid of their vanilla soda😒
