the food's simply delicious - Edit
It's the first vegan restaurant that opened up in k-town, and I was disappointed that it's not Korean food, but everything's really good here. It's got a retro burger joint vibe. Try their strawberry milkshake with whipped cream and sprinkles. Owned by Nic Adler.

Finally Tried Monty’s! - Edit
Loved Monty’s! As an ethical vegan, I’ll pass on the Impossible patty...so I got the vegan kids meal! It’s a “grilled cheese” using Follow Your Heart cheese. It’s honestly their burger bun a cheese. I was craving that classic thick sliced bread. I also got a milksake and cookie.

Pros: Amazing Shakes, Great Location, Fabulous Customer service!
Cons: Wish they didn’t use Impossible only patty, Over priced

nut allergy friendly! - Edit
absolutely delicious! we ordered two double cheeseburgers, 1 single, a kale Caesar salad, a vanilla shake, and loaded tater tots for $76. the tater tots tasted just like in n out animal fries but BETTER. this was also one of the best vegan cheeses i’ve had and tasted just like a normal cheeseburger. the best part is that the cheese and ice cream is nut free so my boyfriend w a nut allergy could have it!

The perfect burger. - Edit
Monty's only serve one kind of burger, but it's pretty damned close to perfect. Juicy Impossible patties on a potato bun with vegan cheese, caramelized onions and special sauce. Be sure to try the dogpile tots, house made sodas, and ask for the special off menu shakes 😉 (they change all the time!!)

Pros: Customizable burgers, Secret drinks menu, Always delicious

Yummy but expensive and not a fan of the bun and seating areas - Edit
The burger was great, sauces were awesome! Not a huge fan of the bun or the prices. I liked vow burger in West Hollywood more! I went to the one in KoreaTown and the seating just wasn’t great, also really loud and busy so the vibe isn’t the chilliest

Complicated - Edit
First of all, I want to say how amazing Monty’s tastes, and I want to say how friendly everyone who works there is. This was my Boyfriend’s favourite vegan eatery. However... since the discovery that “Impossible” does indeed test their product on animals, we can no longer stand behind the brand. Being vegan isn’t dietary, it’s about the treatment of all animals. I’m sad to say I won’t be back until this has been rectified. I am, however, happy that non-vegans can finally have somewhere where they can get a burger that isn’t made from meat that still tastes great. Hopefully it will get more people over to our side. Thanks for the memories Monty’s. I hope to see you again some day.

Cons: Not exactly vegan (impossible tests on animals), It is pretty expensive, but worth the money

BEST Vegan Burger - Edit
This was hands down the best fast food I’ve ever had. Impossible Burger was perfection, my tots were perfectly crispy on the outside and the soft serve ice cream was out of this world. Not to mention my wife had a milkshake which was on par with the soft serve.

Nice Staff, High Price - Edit
The folks working there were really friendly and helpful, even seemed happy to be there. The atmosphere was retro diner like and a bar to sit at to enjoy your meal. I had the cheezeburger, which was 11$ and 12$ with tax. So, quite pricy for just a burger. I'm happy that this option is available so people can try non-meat foods, but it is probably out of reach for people with limited incomes. Maybe I've just been out of the country for too long, but this seemed like an absurd price.

Great price and taste - Edit
They have one type of burguer, but it’s great! Really tasty. We had one burger each and shared one portion of tater tots and then couldn’t even get some dessert! The price is good for the amount and quality of food you get. Also the store is really cute!

Delicious Vegan burger! - Edit
The double cheeseburger was absolutely amazing. Just like an in n out burger but vegan. However, the wait time on a Saturday afternoon was insane. Line was through the door. Also, it is very expensive (reason I gave 4 stars).

Outstanding Diner Style Experience - Edit
We visited the K-Town location of Monty’s last night and it was truly superb.
Read moreThis place keeps it simple with a nostalgic 50’s style diner vibe and menu. Monty’s offers single and double burger options, as well as fries and decadent milkshakes. I had the double burger and my wife had the single burger. We were really impressed with the flavor and freshness of the sandwich, the food was served piping hot! Not only were the patties used delicious but the Follow Your Heart American cheddar that was in the sandwich melted and oozed out of this burger. We have had a lot of vegan burgers and have had some great experiences, but this version by Monty’s has to rate as one of the best that we have tasted. The fries were also delicious, crisp and hot. Everything made to order. If you feel like pushing it over the edge, the milkshakes are very enjoyable.
Highly recommend Monty’s and their very good food!
Pros: Best vegan burger around, Delicious fries and house sauces, Quick and made to order
Cons: None!

The Vegan “In-N-Out” - Edit
Totally agree that this is “In-N-Out” for vegans in terms of quality and demand. I was blown away by how tasty my burger was. It was surreal how much I felt like I was eating actual meat—I actually felt guilty! Every aspect of my meal was exceptionally tasty, even my caramel salted shake and the cola that they make themselves. I’m excited to go back.
