The fish and chips!!!!!! - Edit
Made our way down and we’re not disappointed! Tried Pizza Crunch and the Fish and chips. Would definitely eat both again. Finished up with the S’mores ice cream sandwich doughnut for dessert.

Safe option - Edit
Classic Glasgow vegan restaurant. Portion sizes have got quite small, nothing too exciting but a good number of dishes to choose from.

Fav place in Glasgow!!! - Edit
Omg just go there please. Staff is nice and all food sooooo good!!! Delicious beer. Mac'n'cheese full of flavour, delicious tofish and chips and burgers! Dessert was donut with ice cream and marshmallows, couldn't be better!!! The guy who served us looks like Mark Hamill (and I think he's the owner/manager).

Just so good - Edit
I understand why this place is so well rated. The menu is full of great choices. I had the cauliflower wings, to-fish and chips and the meringue toffee dessert. All was top notch, with hip and kind staff to take care of customers, in a big and bright room with style.

Great bar and restaurant - Edit
It’s a Bar, restaurant and it has a record shop in it too. It feels like a very cool space. There was a good variety of things on the menu to choose from. We got some cocktails (including an Irn Bru based one which was great), tofish and chips (tastes better than it looks) & a cubano pizza. Also got an empire biscuit to take away (super sweet). The food was tasty, flavourful and a good size. Would definitely return

great bar & cafe - Edit
Mono holds a special place in my dining experiences, offering a blend of music and food that has seen its share of highs and lows over the years. Stepping in before a Dry Cleaning gig,I found the revamped menu featuring classic yet indulgent Glasgow dishes perfectly suited to the rainy evening. Opting for the square sausage supper with mushy peas over the tempting deep-fried pizza, I satisfied my craving while making a modest nod to health. The dish delivered as expected, generously adorned with brown sauce, vinegar, and a sprinkle of salt for good measure. While my head nods in approval, my heart remains undecided – a sentiment that speaks to the comforting yet divisive nature of the fare. Ultimately, Mono offers great comfort food experiences, albeit with a touch of uncertainty.

Delicious food 👌🏻 - Edit
Me & my partner went here yesterday it was our 3rd time here, Each time the food is delicious 😋 Yesterday we both had the Mono mac & cheese, I had it with chips & my partner had it with garlic bread, He also had n'duja on top of his macaroni, We really enjoyed the mac & cheese 👍🏻 We both had the sticky toffee pavlova which was lovely 👌🏻

AMAZING tasting "fish" and chips - Edit
Went here for lunch and it was so great.
Read moreThe place has a lot of seating and offers both Scottish classics but also pizza and bowls. I had their "To-fish & Chips" with additional mushy peas and it was really delicious. The tofu was well fried and the chips crispy, but my favourite was actually the mushy peas which was a surprise but super tasty! The tartar sauce was also great.
I can definitely recommend going here and would really want to come back to try their desserts! Don't miss this place!

Vegan pizza crunch! - Edit
Have only had brilliant food here, and my whole family loves it. Everything is vegan and there’s loads to choose from (from sandwiches to gyros to pasta) but my go-to is the pizza crunch supper. Only place in Glasgow where I’ve found a vegan one, and it’s fantastic!

Nice food and vibe - Edit
The food was delicious and the restaurant has a great chill vibe with nice music. The tofish wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was still good. Multiple vintage clothes shops in the area as well

Slow service - Edit
Mono has a relaxed vibe but staff are a bit too relaxed. Friendly but quite inattentive and forgetful. Food is nice but a bit overpriced for what is mostly pub grub.

I’ve been to mono more times than I can count and always enjoyed it. The menu changes often enough to keep it interesting and it’s carried enough that there’s something for everyone.

It was quite quiet fairly early on Wednesday evening. We'd booked, but probdidnt need to! Staff were attentive, and friendly. Started off sitting outside, but it was actually much nicer inside, with the added bonus of a record shop attached!

We both had the tofish and chips - like other reviewers we LOVED the chips! R had the toasted donut ice cream sandwich, which was also fab, although filling. Would definitely go back!

huge menu - a luxury for 🌱 vegans - Edit
We both had the burger with chips. We l o v e d the chips! Some of the best we ever had - seriously and they have vegan mayonnaise - with which you can always make me happy 😃. I enjoyed the burger 🍔 - however the Seitan patty is just not for us. It might be super delicious for Seitan lovers. We enjoyed the bun and all the rest of the ingredients of the burger though. I had extra artichokes in it, which was a tasty new experience 😊 Very recommendable place to enjoy oneself in the city center of Glasgow.
