momos - Edit
I wouldn't call them momos, not authentic at to Nepali/Tibetan momos. There was not enough filling and the dumplings were too small. Quite bland flavour too. But it wasn't terrible.

It’s ok.. - Edit
We had the vegan plate for two, where you can try every vegan filling and dip. It tasted good, but not too special. Can’t compete with the other awesome vegan food you can get in Berlin.

Loved the dumplings and the brownie! About the half of the menu is vegan, 100% of the dips are vegan.

Delicious - Edit
Many vegan options, and the vegetarian options can be made vegan. I found the flavors delicious and will definitely come back again. 6 euro for a small plate (8 dumplings) is pretty reasonable.

Different type of dumplings - Edit
I tried all the variations of vegan dumplings they have and the soup. It was ok but lacked in flavour. Could have been more flavour to both the dipping and the soup.

Wide range of dumplings - Edit
We were most interested in the cheese-based stuffings, but wanted to try the others as well. So we ordered the all-in option (all six stuffings, all three sauces, half steamed, half fried), but asked the chef to give us mostly dumplings with cheese. He happily accommodated this wish and gave us two sample platters full of colorful dumplings. We liked most of the stuffings and all three sauces. I was not blown away by any of them, I had better dim sum before, but it was solid fare with a lot of variety.

pleasant - Edit
The dumplings were interesting without being too weird. That said, they were … fine, not exceptional. The sauces were also a bit so-so. It's nice to have several veg options, but there are tons of other places in Berlin that can offer something similar. To its credit, it's a quick and efficient place.

Easy and delicious - Edit
Popped by for their lunch deal (14 dumplings for €7.90) which was a good deal for what you get. I ordered the two (vegan) mushroom flavours, steamed, with the lemon-cream sauce. I thought they were tasty and was happy I didn't get them fried, as I think this would have decreased the flavour profiles. The portion size in itself was sufficient, although for a proper, more balanced lunch I'd want to supplement it with a salad or some protein, but I found their side dishes too expensive to justify the added expense. The staff was very friendly and generally there was a relaxed atmosphere.

Good dumplings - Edit
I think we were a little underwhelmed by our lunch here given how hyped it is. The dumplings were pretty good but nothing too outstanding, and I wouldn’t go rushing back as it was too pricy for us. I appreciate that they’re focused on organic, local produce, sustainability, etc and that makes for a higher price. But when you’re a big eater you need a LOT of dumplings to make a filling meal haha. It was worth a try, it just wasn’t my favourite personally.

Meh. - Edit
Tried the potatoe/cabbage/carrot and the pumpkin/chickpea, I don't know if it was because I ordered it in a soup, but it was very bland, and all we got in the soup with the dumplings was cabbage and small carrot bits.

We were happy with our dumplings! They all tasted really great (we took 3 different fillings). We especially loved the brocoli/shitake/tofu one. The place is cute and the service is fast. Would go back!

Disappointingly average - Edit
It really was a shame that Momos' dumplings turned out little better than what one could find in the frozen section of an Asian supermarket. For a restaurant whose raison d'etre is dumplings, I was expecting more.
Read moreThe good points:
- The food was well presented. See photo.
- Clean toilets.
- The fried dumplings had a nice crispy golden-brown exterior, reminiscent of pan-fried jiaozi.
- The Mushroom-Potato filling was flavourful and had a distinctive truffle taste. However, as the filling was so well minced I couldn't verify how much of the flavour was actually wild mushroom rather than truffle oil.
- Chic's "Good Times" and other disco classics of yore was playing in the background.
- The place was clean, aesthetically and hygenically.
The bad points:
- Why bother offering steamed dumplings, let alone recommend them, if the fried version is vastly superior? I was told that I would be able to 'taste the filling better' but that was not the case at all. If you are going to have steamed dumplings on the menu then the dough should have some character; either chewy and robust or thin and delicate. These were just limp and tore easily in a rather sad way.
- The Broccoli-Shitake-Tofu filling was mushy, plain, and ultimately forgettable.
- The dumplings weren't very big, and despite having 14 of them I left the restaurant 60% full. Paying €8.50 + €1 (for half steamed/half fried) I was expecting at least 80%.
Verdict:
Come here if you are desperately craving dumplings or are just really really curious. To maximise value for money, go for the daily specials which are €1-2 cheaper than the regular set menu and order the dumplings fried.
Pros: Clean and modern interior, Fried dumplings have a tasty crust
Cons: Steamed dumplings are pointless, Not very filling, Fillings are a hit and miss

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. All organic vegetarian ingredients. Even the beer is organic Vegan options for almost everything. Options for tea, coffee, juice, soft drinks, beer or wine. Literally something for everyone for a decent price. Great for snacking or lunch.
Read moreOnly drawback is that the dough is a bit thick for these type of dumplings. Thus a bit westernised variety.
