Good food but bad service

Stopped to look at the outside menu following seeing the listing here. Front of house staff came out and pointed to all vegan options on the menu. Or so he thought as he was actually pointing to vegetarian and even seafood options. We decided to sit down on the basis that despite this, there were options that were clearly labelled vegan and did not contain diary or yogurt as other places have. We were approached quickly for orders to be taken and drinks / appetisers shortly followed. From here, we were left for over an hour without our mains or drink top ups. When the waiter served mains to the table next to us (who arrived after us) we spoke up and asked where the food was. Waiter was confused and apologetic, and went to look into this. Less than a minute later, our food was served to us. We can only assume that our food was left on the heating rack and forgotten about. In the end, after waiting a further 10minutes for the bill when asked, we paid cash to avoid waiting for the card machine as well. All that being said, I would assume that this is a one off since, as mentioned the tables around us were served fine. The food was tasty and was a hearty vegan meal rather than veggies and sides as more often found on the island. The complimentary dessert served here was watermelon which was nice and refreshing. Good menu for dining with veggies and meat eaters alike
