Different place now, No longer vegan - Edit
Molo is no longer in the place, there’s now a pinsa place called “Pierzza” (likely Pier 51 subsidiary) who offer 3 types of “Pinsa”, which can be made vegan (no cheese) but be sure to state this very clearly.
Read moreI had a pinsa there without cheese, and while the dough was very nice, it was a bit bland overall.

Pizza with a view! - Edit
The food at MOLO was fantastic! Freshly made pizza with a crispy but fluffy crust baked to perfection, well curated and partially homemade ingredients such as the truffle cashew base or cashew mozzarella.
Read moreIt's located right at the Maschsee lakefront and with the only seating being outside, their opening hours highly depend on the weather.
Due to the size of the seating area and the amount of people that stop by they only offer self service with a pager telling you when your food is ready for you to pick it up, making the whole atmosphere a little cold and impersonal.
Next time I'll just go for takeaway and find myself a little cosy spot around Maschsee to enjoy my pizza.

Pizza was delicious! Certain something was missing. It's very nice that there is a completely vegan café right on the Maschsee, especially since the gastronomy here is very rare anyway 😅 maybe more people will notice that vegan pizza is very tasty😄The dessert was too sweet for me ( rhubarb tiramisu) that clearly needs improvement 🙃

Die beste vegane Pizza in Hannover - Edit
Die Pizzen und der Salat schmecken hervorragend! Wir haben in Hannover noch keine bessere vegane Pizza gesehen. Das Ambiente ist auch super. Die Pizza wird bestellt und wenn der mitgenommene Pager summt, abgeholt. Gegenüber im Piergarten gibt es u. a. veganen Wein.

Alongside with La Stella Nera in Berlin so far the two best pizza places in Germany!

Green salad as a starter with a very delicious mustard dressing all kind of veggies (cucumber, onions, cocktail tomatoes, etc.)
First Pizza: Classic Margherita with selfmade (!) Cashew Mozzarella, tomatoe sauce, rucola and drizzle of olive oil.
Second Pizza: Woody Pizza which is a "white" Pizza with smoked mushrooms, glaced onions and truffel oil and again rucola. Very special Pizza and not to get anywhere!
Food was overall very high quality and just on point.
On top of that the view is just something different directly located on a pier with a nice lake.
Staff was super friendly, and always open for a nice chat.
Be aware that place is only open with good and dry weather. So dont come by when its rainy 😉
Absolute go to place in Hannover!
Absolute chill atmosphere with the sun, some lovely food and drinks, also by yourself.

Finally vegan pizza in Hannover. - Edit
The pizza was super tasty. We were there at closing hours so we tried only the Pizza that was sold per piece. Big pieces on a thicker bottom. We have to come back and try the other pizzas.
