The food is not exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Would rate it five cows if it was all vegan.

There is nothing bad to say about Moksha: location is very central, restaurant is cozy and tidy, staff is friendly, menu has vegan and vegetarian labels and a good selection of dishes, portions are quite large, food is very fresh with well balanced spices... But... all this has its own price and it's not low compared to other places. So even the main dish and a drink can result in a double-digit check. But it's still worth it and offers a good deal when you take everything into account.

A gorgeous little restaurant in the center. Friendly, helpful staff and lots of vegan options. All the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan too. Even had vegan beer :) Went here a few times during our short stay in Kaunas.

Best Veg Friendly Restaurant in Kaunas - Edit
It took me quite a while to finally visit Moksha and i am glad i finally did it. Conparing to other restaurants serving meat and fish it has loads of vegan and vegetarian options which are marked on the menu. It is quite pricey for lithuanians though. We tried lentil soup, vegetable masala, rice with vegetables and some appetizers. Everything was really delicious. All their food is quite spicy so ask if you don't want your mouth to burn. Also always ask about the use of ghee in rice because that is not mentioned in the menu. But they always can make the dish without it.

best best best place in kaunas - Edit
I'm vegan and I was on a little hunt to find a good place to eat in Kaunas. I found Moksha and I was super impressed. They have loads of vegan options on the menu. Its all sort of indian themed but theres way more stuff than the standard vegan curries. The atmosphere was really great and quite stylish actually. I would really recommend this place!
