VERY MESSY — MEAT IN FOOD

They used the same scoops for vegan and non vegan food (ie sour cream scoop in salsa), meat landed in the beans, and cheese was in the all the veggies. Disgusting!

Welcome to Moe's!

I love to eat at Moe's. I recommend what I always get: salad in a bowl (not the shell). Start with romaine. Add a scoop each of the pintos and the black beans for protein. I always hold the rice and the cheese, along with the meats and the tofu. The beans are flavorful and cooked just right, tender but not too soft. Some grilled mushrooms add great taste and texture. Then I add a scoop each of the corn salsa and the tomato salsa, plus other tasty vegetables such as cucumbers and fresh chopped jalapeño. Top it with a scoop of the delicious guacamole. You don't need dressing, since there is a selection of flavorful sauces. It's a great choice at a great price for the way I choose to eat.

It's ok

I like the fact that I know the meat is not cooked in lard or the rice isn't cooked in chicken stock (so far every Mexican Restaurant in the Macon area uses chicken stock for rice. Make sure to ask a manager!). The issue is the tofu is not always fresh, so I often just leave it off. Also, if you ask to have your burrito put on the grill, make sure to either have them wrap it first.
Staff is nice. Food is good.

Pros: Rice not cooked in chicken stock, Beans not cooked in lard

Cons: Tofu is meh
