Well… Swedish meatballs is Swedish meatballs.

I heard it is really good place. Well it is ok place to eat. I didn’t expect much about Swedish meatballs. And there is not many menus to enjoy. Just a meatballs… I think one time visit is enough. Too much mashed potatoes, too little meatballs in my opinion.

Nice guilty pleasure food

It's alright. Staff was able to answer all my questions. Decent prices. They were generous with the sauce. Smashed potatoes had an alright texture for fast food. I liked it.

Called “crazy” by the owner in front of other customers

I was ignored several times upon entering the place.
When I slightly raised my voice to be attended to, the owner refused to serve me, claiming I had been disrespectful, and when I tried to explain myself, he called me “crazy” in front of other customers (very respectful on his part).
Would he have acted the same way if I had been a man or if I hadn’t been alone?
Calling a customer “crazy” is unacceptable.
I do not recommend this place.

Decent vegan meatballs and gravy, if a bit hyped

Meatballs, mash and gravy were fun. The lingonberries are very nice, and the cucumber salad wasn’t our favorite element. The gravy was decent, but could be so much better. We took it to-go and ate in the nearby Kulturbrauerei, which was fun.
