I’ve visited this cafe on numerous occasions and it has lots of vegan and vegetarian options but they are not always marked clearly so worth asking. Usually a couple of salads and cakes. Today, Sunday, they had an amazing vegan butternut, kale (and something else!) roast inc gravy. For £14.50 I thought the size and variety was limited but it was delicious, and I loved whatever they did to the cabbage! Lots of plant milks and the coffee is great too. Very close to the UEA lake which is well worth a walk around before or after (takes approx 30-40mins) as well as the galleries and exhibitions in the same building.

There were three interesting vegan salad options you could make a bowl from. I had the hot lunch which was roasted cauliflower steak, with asian veg, jasmine rice and a coconut and lemongrass sauce - looked very bland and colourless but totally delicious! Followed by a coconut mocha. Beautiful tall airy building with tables nicely spaced apart and gorgeous views. Art on the doorstep and an invigorating walk around the lake and sculpture park outside. Allowed to sit and ponder for ages without being moved on, a very relaxed setting
