Fast food with good options

The venue is fine if you are on your own - I ate at about 6pm on a Sat evening and hadn't wanted to go somewhere too formal - this was fine if you are on your own . (I was visiting the city).

There are lots of options for toppings, and no price increase the more you have. Vegan cheese available. The only downside was that the staff have gloves on their hands and pick up the food out of the containers eg olives etc. Thinking about it, if they don't change their gloves then they may have picked up meat for the person before.

Eco wise is good as is made up and served on a piece of paper, on top of a proper plate, so no wasteful plastic. Takeaway boxes were cardboard and you could pack up your pizza if you couldn't finish it all.

Pros: Topping options, Relaxed venue

Cons: Staff handling meat as well

Cool concept

It’s like a subway for pizza which is pretty cool. Fairly priced too.

One of my favourite vegan pizzas

There’s just something about the cheese here that I love, I tend to ask for more than usual though just so you can really taste it and also every time I’ve been they’ve put on new gloves to handle which is reassuring that the staff care. I also like that they have so many veggies to put on top (roasted cauliflower is lowkey nice)

Pros: Lots of unlimited veg on top , So student discount , Caring staff

Good pizza

MOD pizza had a good selection of vegan toppings as well as vegan cheese, which was very nice. They also offered to change their gloves and got me a fresh tub of tomato base out to avoid any cross contamination. Also very good prices (about 8 for a pizza). I would love to see them offering some vegan meat substitutes in the future

Pros: Very nice vegan cheese, Considerate service , Good portion size

Cons: Not the most exciting toppings

Great Pizza

I was pleasantly surprised. For £8 and when their main advertising point is speed, I didn't expect a great taste. But it was really good pizza. Since it's build your own, you get loads of vegan possibilities.

Really nice pizza

They use vegan cheese which is really nice and it's quite cheap for what you get, especially compared to Zizzi or pizza express for vegan pizza

Pros: Reasonably priced

Great Place For Cheap Pizza

Being able to build your own pizza means you can have a completely vegan pizza, veggie pizza or a pizza with meat but without the dairy. Also you can have as many toppings as you want without the price increasing.
The staff are always really friendly and helpful with dietary requirements.
Well worth visiting!

Pros: Choose Your Own Toppings, Student Discount

Great value and tasty pizzas.

The staff were very helpful and clear regarding the vegan options. There was lots of interesting toppings to make your own pizza including vegan cheese. My vegan daughter said it was one the best pizzas she had ever eaten and we have just returned from Italy!
The rest of our group all had the vegetarian pizza option which everyone commented was very nice. We will definitely return next time we are in Nottingham.

Pros: Good value and choice.

Customised pizza

Pick your own toppings or pick from the menu (like Subway). Vegan cheese and lots of veggies (including unusual ones like broccoli). Tasty bases and bottomless drinks

Pros: vegan cheese, customisable

disappointing. better places to go

I wouldn't recommend here to someone that's new to Nottingham. First the woman dropped the ladle for the sauce in the meat and asked me if that's ok. I said no! I ordered vegan cheese with my pizza and I got about 3 sprinkles. I showed a shocked expression at this pitiful amount and the guy said the cheese melts a lot so not much is needed. I said ok. When I got it, yea it did cover the pizza but not that much. I like a lot so I wish I got more cheese. My bf had a similar disappointing experience where he ordered a vegan pizza and got dairy with a gluten free base. Clearly they dont know much about being vegan they only serve the cheese. Like I said there's better places to go with better customer service

Vegan cheese but not much else

Yes this is a pizza chain that has vegan cheese but the subway style bar lends itself to contamination (what looked like dairy cheese in the sun dried tomatoes and a sprinkling of vegan (soy?) cheese in the veggies as they were preparing our pizza) and there are no protein options for vegans.

Pros: Vegan cheese

Cons: Not much else

Great dairy-free pizzas

There are several places in Nottingham now that do pizza with vegan cheese (Zizzi, Stonebaked, Oscar & Rosies) but MOD pizzas are about the best. The bases are superbly crispy and you get loads of oozy vegan cheese.
