Perfect Lunch Spot - Edit
Great spot for Indian food! We went on a weekday for lunch, they have a thali lunch special that allows you to try multiple things, I highly recommend it! Lots of vegan items that are specified on the menu.

Absolutely amazing Desi restaurant in southern PA. The staff was kind and welcoming, happy to offer suggestions, and have a number of extremely tasty dishes. Vegan and vegetarian food -- and those that can be made that way-- are very clearly marked.

Mod India is part of the Comfort Inn & Suites building. I circled the parking lot a few times before I found it. But it was worth it!
Read moreThere's a huge vegetarian menu section, and many items from the veg *and regular* menu sections can be made vegan. So look at the whole menu! Gluten-free items are marked, too. At least half the menu had a GF vegan option. Veggies and beans are the stars, not faux meat.
Food was hot, delicious and very affordable (about $35 for 2 people). Beautiful decor.
Pros: Flavorful without being too spicy, TONS of vegan and GF items, Affordable

We enjoyed the samosa chaat, chana masala, rotii and bhel puri. The owner (Sudha) and her staff were so friendly, aware of vegan needs and checked on us several times. I highly recommend coming on a Friday or Saturday for the live singing - classics and recent Bollywood songs - he was excellent!

Tasty vegan authentic Indian cuisine - Edit
I have eaten here twice and loved the food both times. There is a extensive menu with many dishes marked vegan. The manager and wait staff are friendly and professional.
