Japanese café offering vegan options such as mochi, sesame wakame onigiri, and ponzu salad. Also serves hot and cold beverages. Open Tue 10:30-02:00, Wed-Sun 15:00-17:30.
Closed Mon & Sun.
Nice atmosphere, the waitress is kind and she pointed out which mochis were vegan (she knew what vegan means and this is already something in Cote d'azure!). We tried different mochi and they were really good!
There are 2 downsides though in my opinion. They don't serve traditional mochi but only westernised versions, e.g. with peanut butter, or peach and verbena, etc., they were really good but I was craving anko 😅
Second, they charge you extra 90 cents to swap cow milk with plant based milk. It seems too much of a difference, considering they aren't adding an ingredient, but swapping. So the difference in cost shouldn't be this big.
