Clean & OK salad, but not more

Went with some friends and ordered the beet hummus and avocado salad. Seeing they served the sauce on the side it wasn’t greasy, which is better than most. They do use a small bit of dressing, but that was barely noticeable. The salad contained lettuce, raddichio (bonus points for that 😍), mango (VERY few pieces, minus points for that 😕), some beluga lentils and edamame, a few shreddings of golden beet (nice as it’s not seen too often), cherry tomatoes (completely tasteless), red cabbage, a whole avocado and a small amount of beet hummus. The latter tasted a lot like sesame though, so perhaps much more had been too heavy, but personally I’d rather have more hummus and just half an avo, because this way the salad is mostly just fat and not much carbs. But some people are scared of carbs and probably love it this way, so each to their own 😇

One friend had a pizza and the other a pasta, both enjoyed them but the one who opted for pasta did wake up during the night with a stomach ache (but that’s not due to the pasta being poorly made, more just that it was gluten pasta 😅 Uncertain if there was GF options).

My only real complaint is that I asked if they could remove the cabbage as I’m not great at digesting it and just add more mango or hummus or lentils or veggies, and they replied that they sure could take it out but that I wouldn’t get anything else instead. Kind of lame seeing the price.

Place is nicely decorated and central. If I had to go out I’d be cool to go again even if it wasn’t super great. My friend who had pizza and gives zero craps about gluten loved it, haha 🤭

Pros: Salad not greasy

Cons: Not even vegetarian, Not organic, Not very flexible
