Kaltes Essen und unfreundliche Bedienung - Edit
Das Essen war kalt und kam innerhalb einer Minute. Geschmacklich war es ok. Die Bedienung hatte überhaupt keine Lust uns zu bedienen und war unfreundlich. Dazu kam, dass die Essstäbchen verschimmelt waren. Nicht zu empfehlen

Cold food - Edit
After reading all the amazing reviews of this place, I was so excited to eat here. The food however, was all precooked and served completely cold. It would have been sitting out on the plate for quite a while considering they gave me my food no more than ten seconds after ordering.

Friendly, authentic eatery - Edit
One of the cheapest meals I’ve ever had in my life! The ladies working there were friendly and funny, they didn’t speak English but there were English translations on the menu so with a bit of pointing and dodgy Vietnamese pronunciation on my part, we were able to to communicate just fine.
Read moreMy bf and I each had the com dia for 15k, which was a plate of rice with various vegetable dishes, tofu and mock meat. It was filling and tasty. The mock meat on there was so realistic! Also included a bowl of the soup on the side which they refilled once we ate it (I thought they were asking if they could clear the bowl so I said yes, but they must’ve been asking if we wanted more). We also ordered some fried spring rolls which were decent.
Pros: lovely staff, super cheap, not far from the imperial city

Super cheap, tasty vegan food - Edit
We wanted to go to the place across the road but it was shut so we came here (opposite). Its got great vegan food and super cheap. Staff don’t speak English but have a big menu with English translations that you can point at. We got the ‘com dia’ for 15k which is a plate of rice with a selection of daily vegetables, piece of tofu and piece of fake meat. It was served with a really tasty small soup. The food was delicious and the tofu was some of the nicest I’ve had in Vietnam! Would deffo return if I had more time in Hue.

We had a massive platter of delicious vegetables, tofu, rice, soup (6 dishes) in one meal being the Com Phan. So good. We kept ordering more! Just point at any dish and order it, everything is so good. Had spring rolls too and extra beancurd (chao), very good. Also had small pancake things, reminded me of Yorkshire puddings. When we arrived we were given plates of fresh spring rolls for free and peanut sauce. So good. Want to come again!! All in all it came to 145 dong INCREDIBLE VALUE FOR MONEY

We walked here after our day at the Citadel. It’s ok.. nothing fabulous. It’s very well priced if you’re on a budget, otherwise a little oily for my taste :)

Menu is fully displayed with about 15 items and its prices on the walls. All in Vietnamese. You cannot go wrong with any of the items.
