Great brunch option! - Edit
Got the huevos rancheros made vegan. Was delicious!! Restaurant is pretty busy even on a weekday so prepare to possibly wait. Its worth it though! Great if you have family or friends that eat meat. Options for everyone! Looks like you could get many more meals made vegan as well from looking at the menu. It says to just ask them.

Great brunch - Edit
Really enjoyed the vegan huevos rancheros and the pesto potatoes were delicious. Their house hot sauce is tasty too. 1/2 size was plenty for me!

Best vegan brunch in Victoria - Edit
the vegan options are delicious but limited unfortunately. They have not added any more vegan options for a long time and could benefit from adding more vegan items. This is the place to be for brunch in Victoria and consistently good.

Worth the wait - Edit
I've only gone to the Millstream location (4-5 times), and it's usually quite a wait. The vegan options are not clearly marked, but the staff I've encountered have been quite knowledgeable. Be careful with the veg breakfast sausage - I ordered it once (delicious) and the second time I ordered it, the staff told me it contained egg :( I guess the first one was unaware of this ingredient.

Cons: One mixup with an egg ingredient, long waits, but

very busy, good food - Edit
This place had loads of people waiting for a table. Unfortunately most of the menu items weren't suitable for vegans and werent marked but there were a few options and staff were knowledgeable/helpful. We both ended up with large vegan breakfasts and the food was really good.

Great options for Vegan Brunch - Edit
Located in a cute area of Victoria, situated next to a coffee shop and all vegan chocolate shop. They had a variety of breakfast vegan options and can be creative to make almost anything on the vegan animal free. Only downside is the homemade mushroom sausage has egg. Would have loved to try that!

Breakfast - Edit
Came here with friends. They suggested it because they are regulars and I can see why. Not a lot on their breakfast menu for vegans but adequate prices and serving sizes. I had a pretty standard tofu scramble and toasts w/hashbrowns while my friend had a curry stir fry dish. Both were great but the wait time (over 45 mins) to get a table was a bit insane. We did go during brunch on a holiday weekend sunday though. I'd go back for the breakfast again but might pick a better time/day.

Pricey, but who cares? - Edit
As the waitress described, they are "meat-friendly, vegetarian-friendly, and vegan-friendly."
Read moreI visited on a Thursday, mid-morning. Restaurant was a little less than half full.
We were seated immediately by one staff member and had water brought to our table by another staff member right after that. Lemon water in plastic cups.
The decor was nice. They had a animal-space theme going on. Kinda worn looking tables and chairs, but they were fine and didn't wobble.
Looked like there was only one waitress (while the other server seemed to only be there for pouring water and refilling coffee), so it was a little wait before we could order.
I had read on Yelp about their mushroom sausage, but was disappointed to learn that it was made with egg. Yay to the waitress for pointing it out to me though. I had a "make your own" breakfast with tofu scramble, pesto hashbrown, and their veggie works (avocado, tomato slices, and subbed roasted mushrooms instead of the mushroom sausages). It was all quite delicious with their tomato-paste based hot sauce. Roasted mushrooms were a little greasy but still good. The tofu scramble was crumbled firm tofu with some sauteed onions and (tasted like) soy sauce. Sounds plain but it was a good. The pesto hashbrowns were more like roasted cubed potatoes with some garlic/pesto oil. Good, but not what I think of when I hear hashbrowns.
My meal with coffee came to about $20. To me, it was a bit much for breakfast but I'd still go again. Maybe try their curry tofu scramble next time.

something for everyone! - Edit
Went here two days in a row. We came for breakfast on a Sunday and encountered a 45 min wait for a table and 30 min wait for our food. I was a little annoyed (due to being hungry), but it was well worth the wait. Thankfully there is a a pretty cool coffee shop next door and an awesome punk rock record store a few shops down. Made killing time fairly painless. Went back for lunch today (Monday) and the place was pretty slow, no waiting for a table and the food came super quick.
Read moreThe servers are super friendly, and the food was amazing. Eating here was somewhat expensive, but well worth it.

good breakfast/lunch - Edit
the restaurant is not completely vegetarian, but has quite a few vegan options on the breakfast and lunch menus. we have tried the various breakfast tofu scrambles, coconut curry for lunch. and our son has tried the vegan pesto pasta on the kids' menu. the dishes are all quite good. it does get quite busy on weekends, so we tend to go on weekdays to avoid the crowd. by the way, do not go for dinner here: it is overpriced, and the food is not as good as their breakfast/lunch. although, i think they have recently stopped serving dinner here altogether.
