Best coffee ever! - Edit
The affogato was the best we’ve ever had, and the cappuccino and cold brew we had were also delicious. For food, we got the boudain sushi roll and the hot honey shrooms & waffle - both were insanely good. Definitely will be coming back!

Awesome Stuff, Sushi Roll - Edit
The Boudain Sushi Roll was different than anything I have ever tasted. I highly recommend going here at least once and trying that sushi roll. Got the brussel sprouts also and it was also amazing. I wanted to get more but it's a bit pricey so I held back and just got those two things and some beers. I'd love to try more of their stuff though it was very well done.

Very Good! - Edit
I’m new to plant based eating so we jumped when we saw this restaurant. Here’s the review I put on Reddit.
Read more“ Before, I went plant based, one of my favorite weekend activities was to go out early to some diner and get breakfast, usually with some eggs and sausage in some form. Watch the world come alive. I kinda miss that.
So, yesterday, I found this restaurant near Hermann Park that is 100% vegan and we went. Kinda small parking lot, but one could park on the street. Comfy. The hostess came out to greet us, and said, “Are you here to dine?” But my wife and I bought heard it as, “Are you here to DIE?” At that moment, I thought perhaps we had been hearing too much about Dr. Greger’s book, “How Not to Die”.
Looking over the menu, I was having a hard time deciding. We finally settled on an appetizer of boudin balls (4). My wife ordered a pancake flight of three little stacks of pancakes (strawberry, peach, and pecan pie) while I ordered a breakfast quesadilla with a side of breakfast sausage.
Boudin balls : very good. I got a slightly sweet taste, maybe from the sauce? Pancake flight : wife enjoyed very much. I had a bite of the strawberry and peach (detest pecans) and thought it was good too. Breakfast sausage : good flavor. Good texture, had the pebbly texture of a looser grind sausage patty. But I also wanted that little bit of crisp too. If someone could nail that, I’d beat a path to their door. Breakfast quesadillas : good sized. I was kinda regretting getting the boudin balls. In two pieces. When I tore into the first one, whatever egg substitute they used, hadn’t quite solidified, but by the time I dug into the second, it was more solidified and seemingly tasted a bit better. Definitely needed hot sauce. There was a bit of sweetness to it that as someone now really watching how much sugar I ingest was a bit off putting. Still tasty. Hot sauce : always a very personal choice. They offered a green and a red made by a local company. Looking at the ingredients sugar was a major ingredient and it tasted that way. I just wanted some Tabasco, Cholula’s, or even Crystal’s. I found the green tastier than the red, but in the end, I went New Mexican Christmas style (red and green).
Good place. I want to go back to try some of the other dishes.”
Pros: Lovely building, Breakfast sausage, Tasty
Cons: Busy parking lot, Sweetness of the hot sauce

Live music starts at 7 PM on Friday night and is so wonderful! Our server, Justice was amazing and super informative of the menu. They were able to make us a lavender lemonade and a hibiscus lemonade that I’ve been craving ever since!

Best vegan food I've ever had - Edit
The food was amazing, huge selection and great options got the grits and Cajun fried mushrooms as well as the pancake flight. Fried mushrooms were perfectly crispy and not heavy and greasy, grits and sauce had a TON of rich flavor. The pancake flight was the perfect sweet accompaniment to the savory richness of the grit dish. Been vegan for 10 years, this was the best vegan food I've ever had. Service was super friendly and excellent with great recommendations as well.

Maybe the chef had a bad day? - Edit
I always hear how good it is and Tabitha Brown had me hyped but I am not exaggerating when I say this was not edible. The grits were the worse I've ever had. It didn't even taste like grits. I question if it was made by someone in the south. The king oyster mushrooms tasted like the oil it was cooked in might have been old and they were very hard. The waffle was ok but they forgot our syrup. The pancakes were very bad so we spent over $100 on breakfast that we couldn't eat. However since people rave about it I'll try again one day for their dinner menu.

I absolutely love the food in this black owned business. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures. Everything I’ve had here, the shrooms and grits, the pancakes, the breakfast platter… All are prepared with care. Sometimes the service is slow, but it’s always good.

Mo' Better Brews: Where Vegan Dreams and Flavor Explosions Collide - Edit
Mo' Better Brews is the plant-based oasis your taste buds never knew they needed. The waffles are like a symphony of flavors, and the oysters (yes, vegan oysters!) are a mind-blowing masterpiece. The side of grits? Pure comfort in a bowl. The staff, the music, the vegan goodness – it's like a party for your senses. Mo' Better Brews, where vegan dreams come true, and even carnivores reconsider their life choices.

This is a world class vegan restaurant that just happens to be in Houston. We’ve been coming here since the first week they opened and stop by—multiple times!—whenever we are in town.

Worth the wait? - Edit
Parking is limited and we waited a while to order and get our boxes. We waited a LONG WHILE for our food. Could be considered a good thing because it is busy on a Sunday afternoon. I’m starving!!!!
Read moreInside was warm and a bit stuffy. A window needed to be opened or ceiling fans added. I wish they’d use reusable utensils.
We went again on Sunday and I won’t go back until the winter. It’s too friggin hot and stuffy inside. Outside is no better because it’s Houston. Please invest in some ceiling fans. Your food is good but breathing is too hard in there. There were at least three people fanning themselves. Reversible ceiling fans. Please!
