This was our first time eating Kenyan food, and we weren’t disappointed! We liked the sound of the kidney beans & lentils; the owner confirmed they were vegan. She also recommended the mokimo, a vegan mashed potato dish with greens & sweetcorn. As sides, we had rice & beans and chapati. Everything was incredibly tasty, especially the sauce accompanying the kidney beans. We were shocked at how inexpensive the meal cost. We’ll definitely add it to our rotation of regular takeaways (there’s also a few tables if you want to eat in).
