Weird place - Edit
I arrived at ~11, they said they weren't serving food yet. Place was empty and I had to wait for ~10 minutes for someone to even arrive to tell me that. I came back at night, and they told me no wraps were avalible - okay, I wanted pizza anyways. Upon placing my order, I get told no pizza was avalible either.
Read moreI asked what was, and they said they had take away pizza slices. I said sure as I was starving and I got a gluten free (which meant thick polenta crust, gross!) slice of lukewarm pizza. Paying 5 lev for that experience kind of sucked. Maybe they're better in high season, but I was not impressed.

Like at home - Edit
Pizzas where so nice, at a very good price and they treated us like we where at home. I would recommend any vegan coming to Sofia to visit the place at least once.

Tasty, filling pizzas - Edit
My omnio boyfriend and I both enjoyed the large vegetable pizzas with cashew cheese, both the base and toppings were delicious.
Read moreThe staff member was very friendly and spoke great English. To my mind as someone from London, the prices were extremely reasonable - around 10 lev for a huge pizza.
Pros: Fully vegan, tasty pizzas, reasonably priced

Good Food - Edit
Mix of Figs is one of the few entirely vegan spots in Sofia, so it automatically gets points for that. It's also very centrally located and easy to find unlike some other vegetarian and vegan places in Sofia to which I was not able to find the entrance.
Read moreI had the veggie burger which was quite good and the chocolate mousse which was really delicious. It's always difficult to find good vegan desserts so I'm always happy when vegan places offer things that we usually miss out on as vegans.
The place itself is really nice, but despite the nice decor the place was lacking atmosphere and didn't make me want to go back.
Pros: Very cheap, Also has vegan desserts, Central location
Cons: Lacks atmosphere

Vegan Cafe in heart of Sofia - Edit
Friendly and helpful staff that spoke perfect English, which made it easier to explain the ingredients.
Read moreThe pizza was good, and a fairly big size. It tasted healthy with the wholemeal base, and worked well with the cheese substitute. However I think it just needed something a little extra to boost the flavour. But I still ate all of it!!
A great location in the centre of town making it easy to find.

lacking flavor - Edit
We were excited at the prospect of a full vegan menu & gf options- however, we ordered the Verde pizza & it was terribly bland. We ended up going home & putting some of our own fresh vegetables on it to make it more palatable. The rest of the menu may be better, but we haven't returned to see for ourselves. They advertise a dinner hour promotion (pizza drink extra sauces) that they don't actually offer anymore, for anyone curious about it.

Cons: food didn't taste good

fresh and filling x - Edit
Enjoyed a perfectly filling meal here on our way to the airport. Filled up and bought cup cakes for the journey onwards. I was able to try lots of different things from behind the counter and each was very tasty and well made.

Great pizza, but just that - Edit
"Mix of Figs" is an interesting place, one might say "strange". I am going there, because I like the pizza, but almost everything else they make is not tasty to me. The burgers (a.k.a. kyufte in Bulgarian) for example - absolutely not recommended, complete disaster. The owners want to create interesting dishes, but often ending up in decisions that are not delicious. I point out that they offer a lunch menu that I didn't have the opportunity to try.
Read moreThe prices - a pizza enough for 2 people costs 5-6 EUR.
On the other hand, I admire the owners, because they share recipes for their specialties (like cheese-substitutes)on the Internet. Also, the guys are vegan propagandists and that deserves support.
Pros: Cheap, Location, Nice staff
Cons: Little delicious options

Good food, great service - Edit
A very clean and modern smart restaurant with a nice selection of both sweet and savoury dishes. The reviewer who claims there are only two tables is either mistaken or her information is outdated as I counted the tables and there are eight of them. Overall the place is well-lit and pleasant. The vegan sausages and eggplant salad I had were delicious and the chocolate cupcake was heavenly. And the staff was extremely nice and helpful and spoke very good English. If you are vegan and in Sofia you should definitely check this place out.

Moldy rotten food - Edit
This is not a restaurant, more of a bakery stand with 2 tables. Dark and unpleasant,
Read moreatmosphere non existent. It's serve salads in plastic containers and food that is moldy and sour and don't have value for the prices. The vegan cheeses and fake meat options are inedible, my one have mold and sour tastes. When I approach the staff he replay that this is they recipe and it's my problem if I not like it. No refund or apologies. Bad overall feeling for me. Zero stars from me.
Pros: City center
Cons: Bad food, Bad staff, Bad place

We had 2 different types of pizza, both really good. They have cashew cream instead of "cheese", so it has kind of a twist to it.

Gluten free apple cupcake was a great desert to finish the meal!

very nice - Edit
Very close to the city centre, very nice and helpful staff who spoke english. We had the veganized traditional bulgarian meals (grandma's something and the "crepe") and they were pretty good, but what I would definitely recommend is the potato croquette aaaaaaand the chocolate cupcake! Awesome !

Nice Fig Banitsa - Edit
The fig banitsa of the one my grandmother used to prepare. Not too oily, tasty and light. I also had the potato one, but was not too impressed. The place is not in the ideal centre of the city, so not really on my way. But would be back to try the pizzas and the quiche, hoping they use a better mock cheese than the one that tastes like glue. A good cheese brand I would recommend someone start importing is Sojade!
