Had one soup and one meal that were pretty good and a beet salad. Definitely a good option if you're visiting the abbey

Vegan options but not the greatest ever - Edit
Had two vegan options (some bean and falafel stew and soup). I had the falafel stew. It was not amazing, and not cheap. I also had the vegan chocolate cake. It tasted good but was too sugary for my liking.

They do offer plant based milk now😊 We ordered the chocolate cake, millionaire’s shortbread and coffee. The chocolate cake is delicious and very rich in taste.

Pros: Had a few vegan options savory and sweet, Staff we’re really nice and helpful, Desserts were fab!

Excellent Vegetarian Options - Edit
My friend and I were going to visit Kylemore Abbey for the day so I knew that we wanted to eat there as well. We both were super impressed by the availability of such a variety of choices. I am vegetarian, I had many choices, and everything I ordered was scrumptious. I am really annoyed by the person who gave Mitchell's two stars. That is ludicrous. The food here is super high quality, and I am extremely particular about my food. I believe the soup was vegan for those who are vegan. Eat here and you won't regret it.

Disappointing - Edit
Was happy to see a vegan option on the menu which sounded good (I can’t remember exactly, but focaccia with a range of toppings/sides), but after queuing to order found they had no focaccia. So I had a wrap with the same plain salad in it that was on the side. My veggie partner had a homemade pizza which was average. I am giving the benefit of the doubt that it’s usually better, as it’s a rarity to find vegan options!
