Very satisfying soup and rolls on a cold, rainy day - Edit
I am working my way through the dozen or more Vietnamese vegetarian restaurants around the Westminster, CA area. I enjoyed a hearty bowl of soup and spring rolls at Mitasie 3 in nearby Huntington Beach today. The rolls were large and fully stuffed with mock shrimp, ham, and other goodies. They offered four variations of the Pho soup. I got the one with an assortment of mock meats and tofu along with broccoli, nappa, carrots, and zucchini. Very flavorful, great aroma, and generous portions. The noodles went on forever. Pleasant and attentive but unobtrusive service and an excellent value.

I come here regularly with my mom, daughter & granddaughter for the lunch special which is a great deal. I would give that a solid 4 stars. It's been cold in SoCal so I went with the Combination Pho. Unbelievable! So good. Their prices are also so reasonable. Staff is busy but super friendly. #Veganuary

My favorite restaurant - Edit
Been eating here since before I was vegan, 6 years ago. Mitasie will always be my favorite restaurant. My family has made a lot of memories here (and spent a lot of money.) I credit their dish “da bomb” with helping me get over my aversion to mushrooms.

Very kind servers! The veggie spring rolls had mock ham and shrimp which made for an interesting combo with their sweet jam basil peanut spicy sauce. My favorite is their Yellow Thai Chicken which is absolutely mind blowing! I could come back every week go it- definitely worth a try!

The crispy tofu dish is wonderful! Super hot and crispy on the outside but soft as Korean soondubu on the inside. The pad Thai is intense with flavor. It made the garlic noodle dish taste bland in comparison.

Went to Mitasie 3 for a quick lunch and had the salt and pepper crispy tofu lunch special with brown rice and a Thai tea. It was delicious! Plenty to eat, I ended up taking 1/2 home along with a hot and sour soup for lunch the next day. Great service, will be back!

These days we are lucky enough to have tons of vegan Asian fusion restaurants but Mitasie is the best because of the quality of their recipes and their cooking. Their dishes are simply more flavorful, and their vegetables are cooked perfectly; still slightly crisp and fresh tasting. They clearly care about the quality of their ingredients, and you can taste it.
Favorite and spicy dishes are all marked on the menu, and they also started offering a lunchtime combo with a drink and side of rice.
Personal favorites include any of the vermicelli dishes, curry glass noodle, garlic noodle, any of the clay pot dishes, and the kung pao chicken, but we’ve never tried anything there we didn’t enjoy.
Pros: High quality and well cooked ingredients , Delicious drinks (smoothies, coffee, teas)
Cons: Can be a little hot/stuffy inside sometimes , Sometimes out of the ingredients for the drinks

Our server was very polite and attentive. We had the spring rolls, orange chikn, and chikn pho. We also had the jasmine tea and thai iced tea from the lunch special. Everything was 10/10 and without a doubt the best Asian food I have had.

Great food and great service. I ate here twice on a recent trip to Huntington Beach and both times were good experiences. I had one dish with their mock meat and another with their tofu. Both were really great but I’d recommend the tofu because of how good it was!

We’ve tried a few things from mitasie now but we definitely have our favorites. Their garlic noodles are delicious. It’s full of flavor with veggies and mock meats. The veggie mix with tofu is super tasty. The egg rolls are amazing and I may be a little picky when it comes to egg rolls. They’re super crispy and the sauce that comes with it is super original. It’s sweet, spicy, and salty. This is definitely one of my favorite dipping sauces I’ve ever had. The real star of the show is the orange chicken though. It’s crispy on the outside and the sauce is so tasty. It’s not too sweet or syrupy like some orange sauces can be. It has chunks of pineapple in it too. If you come during the week they have lunch specials that come with a drink including Thai tea. These are super affordable. I love this spot I wish they’d open another location closer to anaheim. #Veganuary

This place is a gem. While the menu offers some hits and misses, you can count on great service and a relaxing atmosphere. By far, our favorite dishes are the barbecue vermicelli bowl and the pepper shrimp. The servers are extremely nice and attentive and the food is prepared and served quickly.
