A vegetarian restaurant that is mostly vegan & raw vegan (exception is honey). Serves smoothies, bowls, breakfast, turmeric latte, matcha latte and more in an inviting, cozy space with a great vibe. Recommended to try the sushi bowl. Open Mon-Fri 8:00am-3:00pm, Sat 10:00am-3:00pm. Closed Sun.

Lovely and friendly restaurant - Edit
This is a lovely and friendly restaurant in a region that is not vegan friendly. We had a hummus wrap, which was much too big to hold as a wrap, but good and plentiful. We also had a Beautiful Bowl, that was a little bland, and a salad. The restaurant is neat and welcoming. We much enjoyed our lunch here.

Mostly a smoothie/juice shop - Edit
More of a smoothie/juice place than actual food spot. Good option if you just need something delivered style or want a juice, but their food options are really simple. Mostly raw plant-based foods so don’t expect a hot or cooked meal. Seems like they appeal more to the “health food” crowd than vegans specifically. I find it really frustrating to go here because they’re vegetarian, not vegans specifically (for sure use honey in a lot of stuff and people have mentioned other non-vegan ingredients to me as well but I can’t verify that part personally) Plant-based is a really misleading term and frustrating for vegans. Their menu is just a chalkboard of items that changes daily without a description so you have to talk to someone and ask a lot of questions to know what your options are and what’s actually vegan. Overpriced for how simplistic the food is. You could 100% make all of these items at home with minimal effort. Not really what I’m looking for when I want to eat out but might be a good option if you just want a juice and maybe a snack on the side. They have some sort of religious affiliation bc they and post bible verses to their social media (in case that’s not your thing). That being said if you’re a raw food person and like to juice this might be for you.
Read moreCons: Non vegan options aren’t clearly labeled , No real menu, just a list on chalkboard w/o detail, Basic/simple food options, mostly raw

Delicious food, GREAT staff - Edit
Stopped by Misty's while traveling. Misty herself introduced herself and walked me through the menu. I ended up with the everything bagel and a PB banana smoothie. The bagel was soooo good. The smoothie is very tasty. Comfortable, modern atmosphere. Loved this place and will try to stop back again!

We were greeted by the owner who welcomed us, and explained all the options. I had the sloppy joe special (made with chopped cauliflower, a wonderful sauce, cabbage and the works)...it was EXCELLENT!

Great food and kind people! - Edit
Misty's is a must if you are visiting or passing through Monroe! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is vegan aside from the honey they use in the Granola I believe. We got their Mexican bowl and their Mediterranean/Greek bowl. Both were delicious! I'd definitely come back again.

What a find! - Edit
It's rare when I can find an entire restaurant that I can eat at in the Midwest, especially in a small town as I was just driving through the state.

Delicious and welcoming - Edit
We ordered the sushi bowl and Mediterranean bowl. The portions are large and the meals are hearty. Each was packed with fresh vegetables and in-house sauces for lots of flavor. Standouts were the kale salad in the Med bowl and hearts of palm tuna for the sushi. A little on the pricey side but very tasty.

Amazing breakfast place, all plant-based with gluten-free options - Edit
On our way out of Detroit, we stopped here for breakfast. My Daniel had the everything bagel with the gluten-free option; very yummy! I had the fruit panini, filled with apples, banana and house-made granola. Don’t miss the Brain Fuel Coffee, which is slightly sweet, cinnamon-y, and creamy, but dairy-free.

I don't want to completely knock this place. I mean it doesn't have a lot of competition, so if I'm stuck in the area it's a great alternative. Their food isn't bad, it's just not the best, it's missing something. I really want to like this place, but something about it is fishy to me. I can tell they're more about "health" than for the animals which is fine, they definitely highlight micronutrients that most people in that city don't get on a daily basis. However, they lack protein 😬 I think maybe adding quinoa or more nuts might help them a little, but definitely adding tofu/tempeh is the move.

Great food with a great atmosphere - Edit
We love this place! Right in downtown, eat in or take out, this place has tasty, healthy options. We have tried the Superfood salad, Mexican bowl, Mediterranean bowl and Sushi bowl. All were fresh and delicious. Loved the elderberry tea also. There are smoothies, lattes and more. It says she is closed on Thursday in the pop up box but she is open daily 8-7 including Thursday.
