Es ist enttäuschend, dass das frühere Miss Vegan sein Konzept geändert hat. Ich habe es regelmäßig besucht, weil es ausschließlich vegane Speisen angeboten hat. Die plötzliche Einführung tierischer Produkte wirft einen Schatten auf das gesamte Restaurant, da es den Anschein erweckt, dass es seinerzeit nur auf den veganen Trend aufgesprungen war. Nachdem es offenbar nicht so rentabel wurde, wie erhofft, führt man nun tierische Produkte ein.

Wir waren heute in Miss Vegan sehr lecker essen. Das Restaurant liegt in einer Seitenstraße vom Ku’damm und ist daher ruhig gelegen. Es gibt genügend Sitzplätze im und vor dem Restaurant. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich. Es gibt nicht nur Nudel- und Reisgerichte, sondern auch veganes Sushi! Wir hatten Sommerrollen, zwei Hauptgerichte und Mango Lassi. Es war alles wirklich sehr lecker. Die Zutaten waren abwechslungsreich und die Portionen waren groß. Bis zum 19.08. gibt es auf alle Bestellung 20% Rabatt! Das war definitiv nicht das letzte Mal, dass ich dort essen war!

Weil es zwischen 1 und 5 nun mal noch weitere Zahlen gibt. Nicht alles ist nur schwarz oder weiß. Und nun stellt sich die Frage, wie man die jeweiligen Sterne definiert. Happy Cow gibt dazu keine Empfehlungen. Deshalb habe ich für mich folgende Orientierung:

I really enjoyed the dishes that I ordered. I tried the duck sushi, some baked tofu dumplings and crunchy sushi roll. I especially enjoyed the crunchy sushi roll & had a delicious and well presented mango lassi and a nice Vietnamese coffee with vegan condensed milk

Das Essen war richtig gut, es gibt nicht nur super viel Auswahl an Gerichten, sondern auch echt gute und besondere Säfte. Das Restaurant ist richtig schön gemütlich eingerichtet und ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, ist auch preiswert und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Miss Vegan ist definitiv einen Besuch wert und kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Found Miss Vegan nearly by mistake on a cold, horribly rainy day on which I didn't dress warm enough. We sat down, to be honest I was miserable (wet, freezing, hangry), but the waitress was very sweet and welcoming. The restaurant was mostly empty but warm, clean and nicely decorated.
Read moreI ordered a wonderfully warming hot spiced apple juice, baked shrimp with sweet & sour sauce and a wonton dumpling soup. All was so delicious.. the shrimp- if you liked shrimp pre veganism these are a MUST TRY. The shape is brilliant and they are the best vegan shrimp attempt I've had thus far. The wonton soup was a hug in a bowl. It was packed full of fresh things and so nutritious tasting. Totally restorative.
Honestly, this meal was memory making for me. My husband says I am so emotional about this restaurant because I was in such a bad state when I walked in. Perhaps there is some truth to that but, isn't that how food memories are made? I was in need of comfort and that is what Miss Vegan delivered.
If I'm ever in Berlin again I will absolutely return. 10/10✨️
p.s. Try the baked shrimp!

Good for those who hate spicy food! - Edit
The food wasn't my cup of tea, but I've noticed Vietnamese food tends to be more gentle in flavor and less spicy to what I'm used to. It's packed with lots of fresh herbs and vegetables, very healthy. I still enjoyed it and my friend that hates spicy and loves more toned-down flavors had a blast. Drinks were great.

The place is nice and cozy and the service very friendly. You can choose from a large variety of traditional dishes in a deliciously veganized version. Very clean and I received my order very fast. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Berlin!
