Handgezogene Bandnudeln😍 - Edit
Wir haben heute bei miss mai bestellt und sind super zufrieden! Wir hatten beide das Gericht „unterwegs mit dem Boot zur schönsten Insel“, weil wir unbedingt die handgezogenen Bandnudeln probieren wollten. Super lecker, wenn auch etwas schärfer als gedacht.

Viele Gerichte sind standardmäßig vegan. Sehr lecker und gut gewürzt, teilweise richtig schön scharf. Die Zubereitung der Bandnudeln in der offenen Küche kann man teilweise beobachten. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Outstanding authentic meals! - Edit
Outstanding quality and taste! We absolutely liked everything we tried. The hand made pasta were delicious, we had the tofu skin salad and jiaozi as starters and they were very delicious too. The atmosphere and service was very friendly and helpful. Best part: every main dish is possible in a vegan version! I’ll definitely come back in the future!

I always love to go to miss Mai, it’s one of my favourite places in Dortmund. The offer home-made pasta that can also be served as a noodle soup. The food is of great quality and veryyyy tasty. They also offer some vegan starters and desserts that are also very good. I can highly recommend it!

Great Chinese food - Edit
This is a great place to get authentic, veganised Chinese food, very different from a lot of other Chinese restaurants in Germany popularized in the 80ies, where everything on the menu is meat with glutamate. One thing I particularly liked is that the menu is rather small and doesn’t beat you down with thousands of dishes. Every main dish on the menu is available as vegan option and with tofu, and a lot of starters are vegan as well. Everything I tried was great in taste, freshly prepared and the staff was very friendly. Definitely would come again.

The food is quite special, but not too exotic. Especially the sauces are super delicious. The handmade noodles are a treat and even the tofu is fried perfectly on point.

Very nice place with really lovely staff. Loved the funny and special names on the menu like "breath of the sleeping dragon at the sea"😄the menu is not a standard one and the meals are creative, well composed and absolutely fresh and delicious. We had the week specials and the price has been worthy. Also the cakes and the Caramel Macchiato have been a dream. Soy milk is not extra charged💗a lot of vegan choices and clearly marked on the menu. Perfect :)

Lecker, aber recht teuer - Edit
Habe dort die veganen Teigtaschen gegessen und die waren auch echt gut! Allerdings fand ich 10,50€ für 8 Teigtaschen doch ziemlich teuer. Beim nächsten Mal dann vielleicht lieber ein richtiges Gericht, das erschien mir besser vom Preis-Mengen-Verhältnis. Geschmacklich aber auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auch obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, wurde uns gerne ein schöner Tisch angeboten.
Wir hatten zuvor gelesen, dass die Wochenkarte viele vegane Gerichte enthielt und wollten diese gerne einmal probieren.
Leider waren wir wohl für die Wochenkartengerichte (Mittagstisch bis 17:00 Uhr) zu spät, aber die netten Leute von Miss Mai haben uns diese dennoch zur Wahl gelassen. Sehr zuvorkommend.
Geschmacklich hat uns das Essen wirklich ausgezeichnet gemundet. Beide Suppen waren wirklich sehr lecker, reichlich und nett angerichtet. Der Preis (wir haben netterweise auch nur den MIttagspreis zahlen müssen) war wirklich gut. Für diese tollen Gericht war das wirklich günstig.
Was uns zudem sehr gut gefallen hat ist, dass hier Getränke von Fritz und Bionade angeboten werden und nicht der dröge Einheitsbrei von Coca Cola und Pepsi.
I-Tüpfelchen war der schöne Sitzplatz. Obwohl an der Straße gelegen, war der Platz durch die schönen Pflanzenkästen ruhig und angenehm zum Verweilen.
Einziger Störfaktor für uns als Veganer*innen war die große Auswahl an Fleisch. Uns hat aber das Konzept gefallen, dass die meisten Gerichte erst einmal vegan sind und die toten Tiere extra kosten, was auch durch ein +€ gut gekennzeichnet ist.

The staff was very friendly and even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were happily offered a nice table.
We had previously read that the weekly menu contained many vegan dishes and wanted to try them once.
Unfortunately we were probably too late for the weekly menu (lunch until 5:00 p.m.), but the nice people from Miss Mai gave us a choice. Very obliging.
The taste of the food really tasted excellent. Both soups were really delicious, plentiful and nicely presented. The price (we kindly only had to pay the midday price) was really good. It was really cheap for this great dish.
What we also liked very much is that drinks from Fritz and Bionade are offered here and not the dreary mash of Coca Cola and Pepsi.
The icing on the cake was the nice seat. Although it was on the street, the beautiful plant boxes made the place calm and pleasant to linger.
The only disturbing factor for us as vegans was the large selection of meat. But we liked the concept that most dishes are vegan and the dead animals cost extra, which is also well indicated by a + €.

Ordered the vegan dumplings and the Comrade Wu noodles plate with tofu at the recommendation of the waitress - and it was a great suggestion! Can't say enough about the texture and flavor of the noodles, paired with perfectly crisp tofu and lots of veggies.

Köstliche handgemachte Nudeln, vegan möglich - Edit
Ein schönes kleines Restaurant im Kreuzviertel, mit leckeren Gerichten die vegan zubereitet werden können. Man hat dann die Wahl das Gericht mit extra Gemüse oder mit Tofu zu bestellen. Alle Nudeln sind handgemacht und super lecker! Auch zum mitnehmen werden die Gerichte schnell zubereitet.

Ein wirklich schönes und gemütliches kleines Restaurant mit kreativer Inneneinrichtung! Zwar werden hier vor allem nichtvegane Speisen angeboten, jedoch sind die Besitzer sehr zuvorkommend. So wurde mir gesagt, sie könnten die meisten Gerichte in veganer Weise kochen :) Sehr lecker!
