Arepas are delicious! - Edit
Delicious! I had the Pabellon. The black beans, jackfruit, and sweet plantains really worked well together. The yuca fries were also delicious. Reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly.

They have changed their hours and now open at 11, but they do still offer the breakfast options. My veggie plate with rice was fine, nothing to write home about. Substantial portions and definitely more selection than a lot of other options nearby.

Quite Possibly the Nicest Peeps - Edit
Walked by last night and was taken in by everybody laughing having fun in the restaurant. Walked up to the counter and I could easily see why… Everyone that worked there is having fun. Never tried an Arepa, but they had an assortment of four different styles of vegan ones and I have to say I’m a fan. I had the one with plantains, jackfruit, black beans. Had them throw some rice in and voila! Great flavor made with care and their chimichurri sauce is awesome!

This was one of the most delicious places I’ve ever been to. I recommend the vegan pabellon arepa and the yuca fries! There are a ton of labeled plant-based options and the staff was well-informed and incredibly kind and helpful. I went two days in a row because it was so good!

One of my favorite spots on Maui, this place did not disappoint. I've never had an arepa before so I don't know how authentic it was, but they were incredible.

Friendly staff, clean interior. They're very generous with their portions and don't skimp.

Loved this place and the staff so much we went three times as a family. So many vegan-able options and the frozen mango coconada (? Mango coconut mix drink) was actually life changingly good. Anywhere with vegan cheese has my heart and this place had it and enough options for me to feel like I actually had a menu instead of just a veggie burger or sum. I loved it!! And it was affordable!!!(for maui)!!! Loved it and the woman taking orders (bleached buzzed hair, very joyful) is basically my bff at this point. Will miss miss arepa 💔💔💔

Really awesome food and lots of vegan options. I had the pabellon arepa which had smoked jackfruit, beans and plant based cheese, yum! The yuca fries were great too. My family (omnies) enjoyed their food as well, so it's a great place to go if you're a mixed company. Would def give 5/5 if possible, the food is definitely on par with many all-vegan restaurants.

plenty of clearly marked plant-based options. pictured “patacon sandwich” is huge! made with fried plantains instead of bread. comes with avo, plant-based cheese (be sure to request it otherwise default is dairy mozzarella), and smoked jackfruit. other sandwich “jackfruit Hawaiiana arepa” is made with thick corn tortillas, smoked jackfruit, and pineapple salsa. yuca fries are a must! everything was yum!

I have been a vegan for 32 years. This place has plenty of vegan options. The jackfruit arepa was fresh and stuffed to the max with a flavorful smokiness and a mango-onion salsa. The yuca fries were seasoned perfectly. The hibiscus tea was not sweetened and was delicious. I am not allowed to give a five star rating because it is not 100% vegan. ⭐️ Here is my fifth star!

Delicious, I love arepas and I love how many vegan options there are here. We went here multiple times on our trip to Maui, the arepa was definitely my favorite. The yucca fries were also good. I don't like mushrooms, but still ate the empanada because it looked so good (and was). The cheese in everything was melty. The staff was great, very knowledgeable about what sauces and menu items were vegan friendly. Great place!

We got two different arepas, yuca fries, and fried plantains. All of it was delicious and a great alternative to the standard burger found at most other restaurants that had vegan options.

The jackfruit arepa was delicious. I don't know what the sauce was that went with it, but I could drink it. Probably the best yuca fries I've ever had. The perfect crispy exterior and creamy interior. I wish I had more meals to spend here.

First off, the inside of the store is very cute. I ordered the Pabellon Arepa and Yuca Fries. The yuca fries were awesome and the staff recognized I was vegan and came out with a separate sauce for them. The arepa was very good, the only thing was that it was pretty messy...just a head-up 😉. Will definitely be going back to try other things, especially the conserva de coco!

So good! Cachapas are on point. The Pabellon is fantastic. Do yourself a solid favor and get the Cocada- a frozen coconut based drink. AMAZING. The owner is so nice. Good people offering good food. If you are in Maui- GO HERE!
