Great empanadas and tacu tacu

I’m addicted to the empanada sauces. Tacu tacu is a huge portion!

Pros: Empanadas, Sauces, Tacu tacu

Get the empanadas

I have ordered empanadas to go at least ten times - both kinds are delicious! The sauces as well!
I ordered the pumpkin dish once and was disappointed. It was very expensive and bland to my taste. I will stick to my empanadas order.

Love a separate vegan menu

Stumbled upon this place when taigu noodles moved locations. Love the dessert options and empanadas.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Vegan desserts, Very knowledgeable staff

Cons: Cost is a bit high for the entrees

Peruvian Food

This is the 2nd location that recently opened (the other is on Monona Drive).

They have a clearly labeled Vegan section of the menu.

Really unique dishes and flavors. I had never had Peruvian food before. I got the Tacu Tacu and really enjoyed it. We also tried a Peruvian empanada, which was really good. Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes.

My only complaint is that the server asked if I wanted tofu on my Tacu Tacu, to which I said yes. It was very minimal tofu, and was just raw. Which was fine, until I saw I was charged an extra $2 for this, which wasn't reflected on the menu like it was for other dishes. I was under the assumption the Tofu was a free add on since there was no meat. I wouldn't get this added in the future, as the quantity didn't justify the extra $2.

Pros: Authentic Peruvian food, Multiple locations, Clearly labeled Vegan menu

Cons: $2 Tofu add-on, Limited parking if busy
