Cozy and dog friendly

Tasty food and a nice atmosphere.

Pros: Mac and cheese, pizza - both very tasty. , Great pub atmosphere.

Cons: Nothing fancy.

Great Highland Bar

This is a great bar full of friendly locals to get the Craic with. We ate in the bar so I don’t know what the restaurant food is like. There were 2 vegan starters and 2 vegan mains.
I had the pizza with vegan cheese which was delicious and had plenty of vegan cheese on and a nice homemade base. It was a good price for the Highlands and Islands too.

Pros: Nice vegan pizza, Great bar staff, Lovely locals

Great pub with atmosphere.

Vegan choices limited, but the curry was really tasty. They also have a good selection of beers.

Pros: Good beer selection and tasty vegan curry

Cons: Limited food choices for vegans

Nice pub, lack of choice

Have been here on previous trips and enjoyed it so decided to return. Went to book and checked the vegan option (1 main only) was available, the lady said the bar had more to offer like mac and cheese, and pizza...further questions revealed they were veggie and she was unsure as to what vegan was. Eventually she said the restaurant had no vegan options, the bar had 2 starters (polenta sticks and soup), and one main (sweet potato and cauliflower curry)...she did also say I could have pizza with vegan cheese but I was a bit sceptical. I ordered that, with rice, it came, with chips!! It was a nice enough curry but shame there wasn't more choice.

Pros: Good atmosphere, Curry was tasty

Cons: Very few options, Staff helpful but not 'well up' on vegan food

Too salty

I get it, its a fish restaurant, slim pickings for us vegans on the Isle of Mull. But the food was expensive and far too salty. There must have been a whole bottle of soy sauce on my plate
