Entree prices for appetizer portions

I went to try this pop-up while it was at a wine bar in Hayes Valley. Given the pricing, I assumed we were going to get entree-sized takeout boxes. We waited for 45 minutes before we finally got our order. We were so disappointed with how ridiculously incongruous our total was compared to the amount of food we were given. Oh well: never ordering from this pop-up again.

Pros: flavors

Cons: very expensive

Must try!

I got to try mishmish at a Millennium popup, and their food is incredible. It's hard to choose a favorite of the two Summer Mana'eesh flavors I tried. One flavor was kousa summer squash, za'atar, cashew labneh, zhoug, and borage. Then a mishmish flavor with sungold tomato sauce, roasted apricot, violife feta, sumac, and fresh herbs. All the ingredients were so fresh and lovely.

For dessert, my favorite was the Hareesa with Coconut Saffron Ashta & Sour Cherry Compote. The flavors of the ashta and compote complimented each other nicely, and they made the cake perfectly moist. Baklawa was very tasty, too
