CLOSED: Misella Delite Organic Cafe

Where was this restaurant when I was living in Spruce Grove? A poor little vegan girl needs more options while trying to convince her meat eating friends that vegan food really can be good.

I have been super happy with the food both times I have been. I am a little disappointed that on my last trip out there that its wasn't strictly vegan anymore. It also has a new name. No idea what happened, but still pretty decent.

My family visited Misella Delite last weekend, and it truly was a "delite"! I had heard the good reviews and decided to check it out. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and such a wide selection, too. We definitely will tell everyone about this wonderful gem and we will be back. Well worth the 25 minute drive! Good luck to these lovely young ladies for taking the initiative to not only support local farmers, but also to encourage good healthy eating and lifestyles. To anyone reading this review: do yourself a favour and have your lunch here very soon - you won't be sorry! Can't wait to visit again.

Great little gem on front street in Stony Plain. Well worth the drive from Edmonton if you're looking for delicious, local nourishing food. I am a strict vegan so it's not easy to find good restaurants, and this is probably one of the best I've come across in Alberta. A variety of options to choose from- hard to decide what to have but for my first visit I had the veggie burger and sweet potato fries and it was delicious. I recommend it.
The owner came out and chatted with us after we ate and she was super friendly and also told us about a local food basket they are part of which is 12 weeks of fresh locally grown organic produce throughout the summer.
If this restaurant was in my neighbourhood I would probably go there a few times a week. Look forward to going back and trying out more things on the menu. The only downside is they close at 6pm (will be changing to 7pm for spring/ summer months) but I'd love to go here for dinner later in the evening.
If you are looking for good wholesome food- vegan, vegetarian or not- Misella Delite is a must!

This is a fantastic little find. I only wish Edmonton had a restaurant with the fantastic selections and vision that this tiny establishmnent has in Stony Plain. I can only say though that it is worth the drive.

I love this place. I have been back several times. Yummy food, friendly staff! I have brought many non-Vegan/Vegetarian friends to enjoy this restaurant and they love it!

I'm getting more involved in events here too. I just registered for their Earth Hour 6 course RAW Vegan dinner on March 27/10. I also got 5 other people interested in going with me. I'm really looking forward it.

My very thoughtful friend and boyfriend picked up a birthday cake from Misella a week ago. Delicious!

I've also been there a couple times for lunch, very happy with my meals each time, it's worth the drive from Edmonton to check it out.

Misella Delite is well worth a visit. All the food is vegan and mostly organic with lots of raw options. We feel lucky to live nearby. Misty the owner is charming and the cafe clean and comfortable. Just the sort of place the world needs.

Yesterday at the St. Albert outdoor market, I was lucky enough to sample the best vegan cheesecake I've ever tasted.

As a relative newcomer to the Edmonton area, I was over the moon when I saw Misella Delite Organic Cafe's booth at the market, as vegan and organic restaurants in this part of the country aren't too common. I was even more ecstatic when I scored the last sample of her New York Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake. It was pure perfection...a bite of heaven! It is hands down the best I've ever had--vegan or not.

Although this review is only based on a food sample, I look forward to changing that soon with a visit to the cafe. I was also fortunate enough to receive a coupon for a free dessert upon my first visit! If the Peabutter Cups are anything like the cheesecake, then the 35 minute drive will be more than worth it!

I have eaten at Misella Delite Organic Cafe several times and I have also recommended to people I know. The food is fantastic and the service is very friendly and fast. We often stop at Misella for lunch after a yoga class and enjoy the quiet, cozy atmosphere of the restaurant.

The menu selection is fantastic and tasty. I cant believe its all vegan no dairy products or eggs. No additives or perservatives. Just delightful!
